NORTHERN LIGHTS TONIGHT: Aurora viewing will be possible tonight into early Monday morning (before sunrise). The best time to see them will be between 10 pm and midnight. There may be passing clouds, but northern lights should be visible in areas away from city lights.

Due to high-water levels on the Pigeon River and overnight temps that are below freezing, the High Falls viewing platforms and trees at Grand Portage State Park are laminated in an ice buildup.

Conditions are constantly changing. Snowy trails turn to ice-sloped trails, then to ice, snow, and mud. Plan ahead with your gear like boot cleats and trekking poles. Be extract careful around cliffs and water.
