It’s just 2 games but this defense that was supposed to be awful with Luka and AR has been great. 132 offensive rating and they haven’t even clicked yet.

It’s a good sign for the Lakers that they can play sloppy and have Luka not play great and still win. Luka’s teams of the past would never win a game like that. Lots to work on though.

Watching Kessler leave and Lopez get 7 easy points in a row is rough. Kessler cannot get injury this year.

Lakers have a ways to go in figuring out there rotations and new offense. Also, Looney is such a massive drop off from Kessler it’s a problem. Everything changes when Walker leaves the court.

Anthony Edward’s pulls an Anthony Edwards. 45 points and can’t be stopped one game, 5 for 23 the next. It’s why I can’t put him in that top tier of players. The MVP candidates do it every game.

This isn’t a conspiracy theory. We have many MVP voters who have openly said they don’t like Luka. The biggest national voices have made it clear that they will never vote for him. I believe anyone who publicly admits to having disdain for him should lose their vote. Luka will never win MVP because of this. But history will expose just how ignorant these people were.

You have to bet with your head not your heart. I knew SGA would get to at least 15. I placed that when he was at 2 points. No one in this league stat pads as well as him.

I’ve never seen a guy chase a record as hard as SGA has this 20 points record. He’s done this so many times. He will be firing at will the last 5 minutes for his 20 points. Bet on that.

Must be nice to be tied against one of the better teams in the league while shooting 1 for 10. You must not be very valuable to your team. Clearly Braun is an SGA stopper.

No one makes centers look better than Luka.
