My daughter’s elementary school co-workers today all wearing her Dad’s name on the 29th Anniversary of his sacrifice in the NYPD Line of Duty. Her mom was 8 months pregnant with her. A father she never got to meet. RIP Joe Alcamo 3/26/92 💙🙏

Within the first 50 days of 2021, our detectives & officers have arrested 210 offenders for vehicle-related crimes, including vehicular hijacking, possession of stolen vehicle & criminal trespass to vehicle. We are working hard to restore safety for our city's drivers.

Found this on my patrol car this week. Sometimes it is very hard to remember why I got into this career in the first place. We do this job because of people like this. People that need us, respect us or not, want our help or not, but deserve a fighting chance against this world.
