MISTAKE #7: Drafting positions instead of production
This is the biggest one.
Don’t say:
“I need a QB.”
“I need my RB2.”
“I haven’t drafted a TE.”
Ask:
How much projected production disappears if I wait another round?
That’s what Vegas tiering actually helps us answer.
The goal isn’t to draft the team that looks best immediately after the draft.
It’s to buy the most projected production with the least draft capital.
That’s why I’m using Vegas.
Sportsbooks don’t care about your favorite sleeper.
They care about being wrong.

My Vegas draft rules right now:
🎯 Lawrence > reaching at QB
🏃 Don’t ignore Henry because of age
🎯 Respect the elite WR cliff
⭐ Elite TE or wait
💰 Exploit late WR depth
📉 Don’t pay for name value
🧠 Draft production, not positional anxiety

💰 What’s the CHEAPEST 150, 200 & 250 fantasy points you can buy?
Forget names.
Forget hype.
I took the latest Vegas projections & current ADP & asked:
How long can I wait while still buying a certain level of production?
The answers explain a LOT about draft strategy. 🧵⬇️
Biggest takeaways:
🔥 QB: WAIT. 250 points are CHEAP.
🏃 RB: 200 points are EXPENSIVE. Secure early.
🎯 WR: 150-point production runs deep.
⭐ TE: 150 points are scarce. Pay up or accept the drop.
Sound familiar?
Vegas keeps pointing us toward Hero RB + patience at QB/WR.
