corelayer preflight prevents you from breaking prod
give your coding agent rich production context before code gets deployed
things like common failure modes when you’ve made similar changes in the past
what downstream systems depend on your change
where and how your code runs
other dangerous patterns and gotchas corelayer has observed in your systems over time

we’re introducing a new way to understand your production environment
reliably automating production support for complex engineering orgs is insanely hard
it requires context that doesn’t exist in any system
business nuance and semantics, design decisions, team preferences, failure patterns
we’re building the infrastructure to capture and organize this data so agents can use it to detect, resolve, and prevent production incidents
excited to show off a couple of the useful features this unlocks!

we’ve now handled over 1,000,000 production error events
that’s 1,000,000 exceptions, failed jobs, alerts, and anomalies that a human didn’t have to spin their wheels debugging
we wouldn’t be where we are today without our early customers
thank you for trusting us, partnering with us, sharing your feedback, and pushing us to be better every day
here’s to 1,000,000,000!

self-maintaining software is a utopian outcome for engineers
only work on the most interesting, challenging, important problems
let agents handle everything else

.@CorelayerAI is the AI on-call engineer for data pipelines.
Their platform monitors both data and infrastructure for issues and uses AI agents to debug and suggest fixes in minutes.
Congrats on the launch, @MRadhuber + @shiprajhahirani!

Three months ago, I quit my job and moved to SF to build @CorelayerAI
Yesterday, we started the @ycombinator W26 batch!
These past few months have been… insane (story for another post), and the next three will be no different
We’re here to solve a problem that every software engineer is familiar with: production support.
We’re starting with on-call support, specifically for data-heavy industries like financial services and fintech, healthcare, and insurance.
Corelayer monitors both data and infrastructure for anomalies and uses AI agents to debug and suggest fixes for issues.
We want talented human engineers to spend more time creating cool, useful things for the world and less on support and maintenance.
76 days til demo day.
Let’s go!
