The only thing I can think about right now is how crushed JDub must be. My favorite player on the team, the guy I love I watching for his joy and energy. And he’s dealt with so much, only to now get dealt THIS?! Prayers up for him, this is so horrible.

This fucking sucks. JDub was so excited to finally be healthy, and he’s such a joy to watch. I’m fucking sick to my stomach right now.

The Thunder are going through the motions. No energy, ugly turnovers, no ball movement and bad offensive process in general.

This is a solid flier. I like bringing in a wing with some size (listed at 6'7") who plays hard. He's reworked his jumper and massively improved his shot at Georgetown, but that didn't show up last year. So go out and get him, see if the shot comes around, and if not oh well.

Everyone who clowned Wemby after Game 1 apparently jinxed Shai.

Mara has had some nice plays already, but that “box out” on Bagley was so bad. You can’t give up those kinds of rebounds.

The Nuggets are a team you want to attack downhill to exploit their lack of rim protection. The Thunder are settling for way too many 3s, especially SGA. Here’s hoping Daigneault gets that straightened out.

Did anyone else’s Peacock apparently set you back during halftime? I didn’t pause or anything, but just realized I’m like a minute behind. And you can’t fast forward through the ads.

Chet has looked great tonight. I think playing the Spurs in Game 1 is great for him. Let him get that monkey off his back immediately.

Hell yeah, glad to see it get done. And right in line with the expected money. I’m fascinated to see how Presti navigates things over the next couple years, but for now it’s awesome to see Cason get his.

I don’t really understand why playing in college would void an international contract. This whole situation seems weird to me.

The rest of this game has been pretty rough, but man it’s great to see JDub looking like himself. I missed watching that guy ball.

Can’t watch the rest of the game, but it’s really good to see Stirtz back out there. And great to hear Mike Wilks say all the long outlet passes are a point of emphasis this season. The Thunder’s offense is going to be so dangerous.

I’m curious if all this hit ahead passing is something to specifically attack the Bucks, or if this is a sign of how the Thunder plan to attack in general. Because they’re going to be so hard to deal with if they’re going to do this every game.

Holy shit, the ball movement on that play was incredible.

Mara looks great again, and this is more than just “he’s surrounded by better teammates now.” He looks like a different player. He’s playing with a level of conditioning, effort, and confidence that he wasn’t in Summer League. This is extremely encouraging.

Hot damn, Jared McCain’s shot is so pure.
