Trace amounts of lead can have life-changing effects on young children. It invades their brains, attacking areas that govern reasoning, aggression and impulse control. It can lurk in the body for decades, clinging to bones like a belligerent squatter

Exclusive: In late 2024, FBI agents were looking at Sen. Susan Collins’ role in a massive illegal bribery scheme alleged by a former federal contractor. Then Trump gutted the FBI and DOJ, leaving no one to carry on the investigation – it’s dead. 🧵
Trinidad Chambliss has mastered the quarterback position and it is a rare but beautiful thing to see. As long as he's healthy, Ol Miss is the most dangerous team in college football and an guaranteed bracket buster.

Oligarch Umar Kremlev’s previously unreported relationship with Don Jr. represents an extraordinary development: a member of Putin’s circle financially supporting the president’s son and gaining intimate access to the Trump family.

Not tracked by Box Office Mojo or The Numbers. Should b under international
If tracked, it'd prove Black-led casts to be more lucrative & we'd get more

🚨 BREAKING: The SEC has opened an investigation into Daktronics concerning Kawhi Leonard, according to the scoreboard-maker's CFO on their earnings call today.
This is in addition to requests for information, related to the Clippers, from the NBA.
"The Securities and Exchange Commission is seeking information from us concerning the company and [Kawhi] Leonard. We take these requests seriously and are cooperating."
EXCLUSIVE: How involved were the Clippers in Kawhi Leonard's hidden side deals?
Per internal emails obtained by @PabloTorre, the team repeatedly prodded its scoreboard-maker to schedule "activations" with "KL" in 2021.
Daktronics exec wrote back: "Thanks for the reminder! Go Clippers!"
Jalen Brunson says he saw himself as JJ Barea off the bench in Dallas and never asked for more, until New York handed him a franchise.
"My mindset was, I'm filling JJ Barea's role. He came off the bench for Dallas. He did all these great things for Dallas. That's where I see myself. I'm gonna work to be better, but that's where I see myself. That's where I feel like I can help this team."
"The more you show in your role, the longer your leash gets, the more you're able to do. People just want to say, 'Hey, I can do this, I can do that.' Well, do what's asked of you first. Perfect it. Master it."
"And all of a sudden you'll be surprised of what they'll allow you to do. And you'll be surprised by yourself, like, 'oh damn, I can do this.'"
"So it's all about starring in a role."

Dolly Parton says she once went through a period so dark, she understood why people turn to drugs and alcohol.
“Yes, I went through a bad period of time back in the ’80s when I was going through the change. I was having some female problems, family problems, emotional problems, and I was overweight. I didn’t feel good about myself at all, so I got myself in a pretty bad bind.”
“I understood at that moment how people get on drugs, how people get on alcohol, and how people can commit suicide. I didn’t do that because I kept praying, holding on to God, and hanging on to my friends.”
“No business thing has ever been able to get me that depressed. It has to be something very personal, either family or something during that middle-age change of life, when your hormones and everything are different.”
“I did have a very hard time, but God, praying, friends, and just trying to hang on helped me. Being Dolly, just being me, I thought, ‘Hey, either get off your fat ass and do something about it, or go ahead and blow your head off.’ And I thought, ‘Nah, I ain’t gonna do that.’”
“I believe God meant for me to go through that so I could completely feel for other people about everything.”
