So, @MakerDAO is considering delisting WBTC, which makes up ~10% of DAI's backing.

tBTC is the most trustworthy Bitcoin on the market.

Too many people still think tBTC is collateral backed and hence too expensive/not scalable.
It's a big multisig using TSS. A balanced solution between security and decentralization. Until we have practical BitVM it's the most secure BTC bridge design.

While it seem based more on FUD that fact, wBTC dominance enabled by MakerDAO is wobbling, while other players like FBTC are moving into the market.
WBTC has worked great so far despite being centralized.
It's time we see more competition in the BTC DeFi space, only way to push innovation.
My bet is: centralized players will either adopt BitVM and similar light client based bridge designs or die.
