It may not look exciting but we were delighted to install some new environmentally-friendly heating last week in our back hall, which is used most days of the week for church and community activities.
Huge thanks to the @Benefacttrust for grant funding towards the project, and @GodfreyLappage for the very tidy and efficient installation.
This morning is our all-age service and we're looking at the saying of Jesus: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." So if you need to find some rest then join us at 11.00am! We also have a bring-and-share lunch afterwards 🙂🌭🌮🌽🍅
You may have noticed that our name has changed! You can read more about our switch from Corringham Evangelical Church to Corringham Community Church on our new website at corringhamchurch.co.uk/new-n…
Tomorrow morning, some of us are meeting for a short 'sunrise service' to start Easter Sunday. We'll be meeting at 5.45am at the 'trig point' at the top of One Tree Hill (goo.gl/maps/Z1PsNvjJGttQfh75…); this is near to the top car park.

Thank you to everyone at @CorringhamEvan for this fantastic Harvest Festival donation for the clients of @ThurrockFood.
The Thurrock residents referred to us in crisis are going to love receiving these items in the coming days / weeks.
💚 Thank you 💚

We were delighted to be able to celebrate harvest today with donations of food for @ThurrockFood - they do such important work. Thanks to God for his continuing provision!
This morning we're celebrating the anniversary of TJC (The Junior Church). Join us at 11.00am for a Family Service followed by a bring-and-share lunch afterwards!
We are delighted to announce that, thanks to a generous donation, a 24/7 public access defibrillator has been installed on the outside of Corringham Evangelical Church on Fobbing Road.
'He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.'
(Matthew 28:6). Join us at 11.00am for our Family Service to celebrate!
'Posterity will serve him; future generations will be told about the Lord. They will proclaim his righteousness, declaring to a people yet unborn: He has done it!'
(Psalm 22:30-31). Join us at 10.00am to remember what Good Friday is all about.
Next Saturday is our free Easter Egg Hunt at Dry Street Memorial Church! There are still spaces available at the 9.30am session (the 11.00am session is fully booked). Book your places at corringhamevangelical.co.uk/… before they all go!

As a church we’re running a one-day First Aid in the Workplace course tomorrow (Saturday 19 March). This was originally for church group leaders but unfortunately we have a number of people who are now unwell and can’t attend.
This course will last all day tomorrow from 9.00am to 4.00pm with a break for lunch at the church. A light lunch will be provided. At the end of the day you’ll receive an accredited First Aid in the Workplace certificate.
There is no charge for attending but we only have four spaces available.
If you would like to attend, please contact [email protected] ASAP today.
