When I started posting daily, I shouted out @BuckazoidsWorld for keeping the lore alive. Eight days later, the lore is alive because people are, not because of any account. That is the part of crypto nobody can fake.

Crypto is in a holding pattern.
The selling that drove early October's dip has slowed, but there's no fresh demand to replace it.
Spot buyers and ETF investors aren't stepping in strongly enough to spark a recovery, and ETFs just saw another week of outflows.
Until demand returns, BTC, ETH, SOL, alts and memecoins are all stuck waiting.
Geopolitical tension in the Middle East, Ukraine / Russia, and North Korea keeps everyone’s risk appetite low, and inflation worries and the Fed's next move aren't helping.
Being range-bound doesn't mean broken.
It means the market is waiting for its next catalyst 👀

We got you🫡
We are not a frog of a different color or a dog of a different collar
We are history, established 1991
Person-to-person, cross border in-game currency used throughout the galaxy by sovereign individuals, like Satoshi Uesaka and Rodney Nakamoto and Hal Finney to buy beer and burgers and stolen spacecraft parts without showing ID … the lore goes much deeper than you think 🤔

We're getting close to launching the Nym Arena beta.
We've been working on the first game, The Unanswered Objection, along with Second Name, which explores optional credentials without compromising player privacy.
The idea behind Nym Arena is simple: games should be able to remember what happened without needing to know who played.
We're nearly ready for testing, and I'll be sharing the link this weekend.

The Unanswered Objection is our first featured game.
Final integrations are being done and beta testing is about to begin.

I hold @Google @gmail 100% accountable for the devastating consequences of a security failure that should NEVER have been possible.
A person in Germany used a newly created fictitious Gmail account to take control of my adult Google account through Family Link by changing my birth year to 2014 and effectively making me a 12-year-old in Google’s system.
Google’s safeguards then prevented me from submitting my government-issued ID to prove my actual age and identity.
Meanwhile, my account was caught in an unauthorized parental supervision relationship that I could not independently terminate.
The consequences were devastating. The attacker gained access to sensitive personal information, including my driver’s license number, Social Security number, and financial communications involving cryptocurrency exchanges and my bank. I was subsequently socially engineered, and one of my crypto wallets was drained.
This is not just an account recovery problem. This is a security failure with real financial consequences.
The unauthorized Family Link account is “still” pending deletion since August 5th, and I am STILL dealing with the fallout.
How can Google allow a newly created account to impose parental control over an established adult account, block identity verification, and leave the legitimate account owner without an effective way to regain control?
I demand immediate executive-level intervention, removal of the unauthorized supervision, a full investigation, and accountability for my losses.
Google and Gmail need to address this vulnerability before another person suffers the same harm.
Morgan & Morgan @forthepeople do you want to help me.

In 1989, Space Quest III's villain was a software company. ScumSoft's teenage CEO kidnapped the Two Guys from Andromeda and forced them to design games, so a janitor broke in and rescued his own creators. Two years later, Buckazoids became the galaxy's currency.

years ago when we set out to build an L1, all the VCs and institutions we talked to told us to fork the EVM and spare ourselves the pain
"build another version of the same thing, ship fast, move on" that's what they said
we said no to that, because we had a very specific view of where the world was going and copying a broken design was not an option
so we built sui from scratch, took the risk, and took the time it needed
now the world is going exactly where we thought it would go. and there is a whole set of things people want to build now where sui is the only option on the table
the next few years are going to be fun

Found the Bitcoin logo in a 1991 Space Quest screenshot. It was on a Buckazoid. Sierra was early to everything.

Space Quest IV shipped on floppies, launched from a DOS prompt, and minted Buckazoids in 1991, 18 years before Bitcoin. One disk corrupted and Roger Wilco was stranded forever. Which Sierra classic was your first: Space Quest, King's Quest, or Larry? 🛸

Happy 40th birthday to Roger Wilco, the galaxy's greatest janitor. Since 1986 he's been saving the universe entirely by accident. Raise a Buckazoid to 40 years of heroic fumbling. 🎂🛸 $BUCKAZOIDS

Hey @maxkeiser do you remember
when you said on @X that Bitcoin came from online gaming of the mid-1990s and “escaped the game”. below ⬇️
Did you mean Space Quest IV (1991)?
The in-game currency was called $Buckazoids and had the iconic “₿” on it nearly two decades before Satoshi’s whitepaper.
Is this what you were thinking ₿🚀59?

projectb59.com just got a new front door.
You can now choose between the Timeline to Bitcoin and the new Gaming History archive, covering early games, Sierra, Atari, consoles, virtual worlds, digital economies, preservation, and playable history.
The Sierra side also got a major rebuild, with new Vault records, source trails, and a much deeper Buckazoids section.
A special thanks to @caboken and Roberta, and to @TheColossalCave and @SierraOnlineUni for helping keep so much Sierra history alive.
And Ken, if you ever dig up anything cool from the old Sierra days that deserves a safe home, send it our way. We’d be very happy to preserve it in the Vault for you 😉
