Crews continue to work diligently as fire has jumped into the upper portions of Cyrus, with structures threatened. A structure protection group is currently on scene.
The fire is approximately 150 acres.

The Buzzard Fire is showing major improvement. With more accurate mapping the fire is sitting at 902 acres with 87% containment.
Crews are working diligently to bring full containment in the next few days.

🔥Buzzard Fire Morning Update
Fire crews were able to get even more containment lines around the Buzzard Fire overnight. That containment number is now up to 37%. Unburned fuel and steep terrain continue to be the biggest issues while fighting this fire.
The Evacuation Warning is still in effect for zone KRN-535.
