The Governments reason for putting Folic Acid in food is because "our diets have changed as we don't eat food such as Spinach, Chard, Kale which naturally have it in". So now it's in everything from Bread, Biscuits, Breakfast Cereal, Cakes, Crumpets, Pastries, Burgers, Ready Meals, Cans of Soup, Gravy, Pizza, Crisps, Breaded Chicken, Sausages, Pasta, Oven Chips, Fish Batter and so on. How does not eating 2 or 3 sources of natural folic acid equate to putting it in every single food possible? A synthetic lab made chemical is not good for you.

Good grief, but the John Lewis Xmas advert is AWFUL.
It's basically an advert for buying gifts for ungrateful kids with terrible parents.
The grandchildren are just plain rude. The parents don't notice or care. So the grandma decides to splash the cash on gifts she thinks they will like - so rewarding their rudeness!
If I had a kid who behaved like that, they wouldn't be getting a single gift on Christmas Day. Not one.
Oh, and of COURSE the ad has to feature a mixed race family (who make up 1.3% of all British families yet about 50% of families appearing in TV adverts) because, y'know, diversity.

I went to primary school in the late 80's early 90's there were two minority students throughout the whole school. Fast forward to 2013 when I am dropping my son off at the SAME school he was 1 of 5 White British students in a class of 28. This is not something that can be denied no matter how uncomfortable it may "feel". It is right there, you just have to open your eyes to see it.
