🇪🇺🇮🇪🇬🇧 This morning, I welcomed progress in strengthening EU-UK relations, but stressed that we must now move from political commitments to delivery.
On the crucial SPS agreement, the political commitments have been made. Civil servants must now honour them and get the job done.

You don’t have to like Trump or agree with his policies to find this statute being shown in the EP silly & objectionable. I’ve written to the Parliament about my disagreement.
What a disgrace. A gold-plated, naked Donald Trump on a starving man’s back, branded “The Orange Plague,” is on show in the European Parliament in Strasbourg under the guise of “art”.
