Breaking news: man turns up to work at job he is employed at
Absolute revelation there, lads 😂
I'm not excusing the players here in any way. They've barely looked like a pub team on the pitch for the last few games
Is this not a bit rich though, from Gary neville, who has just got into bed with mark goldbridge and makes a living these days from just slagging the club off?
Gary Neville on Manchester United’s players:
“Some of them aren't that professional. So I've got no time for them. There's a few of them that don't go to bed at the right time, don't eat the right things, don't think about Manchester United every single minute of every day, and aren't living and breathing this football club as they should be - and as professionals should.”
#MUFC
The amount of absolute dickheads we've had to deal with in work tonight for el classics has almost made me forget about the united game
Made all the worse by the fact that I
A. Was meant to finish at 7pm
B. Am back in at 7am
Absolute shithole of a weekend
Absolute madness 😂
It's not the reason we lost today but christ, the standard of officiating in this league gets more and more laughable every single week
Genuinely starting to wonder how far off being ready the under 21 players are if they can't get any minutes when the first team look this bad every game
Not having a LB and a ST in squad is ridiculous but we shouldn't be playing this bad
Or maybe, just maybe...
It's really fucking cold outside
There's more than enough to moan about united for this season without ex players resorting to nonsense like this
🚨🎙️ | Ashley Young reacts to Bruno Fernandes arriving at Old Trafford with his hood up:
"Okay, you've been dropped as a player. It happens to players. I've been there. But you want to see a REACTION.
"He's got his hood up, he's walking in, he's telling the fans that he's still upset. But that's NOT the reaction you want from a captain of #mufc.
"You want to see him, 'okay, right, I've been dropped. I know what I've done wrong. I'm going to walk in, and when I get the opportunity to come on the pitch, I'm going to show what I'm actually about.
"'Okay, my comments in the week were said and directed to Michael Carrick, but I don't want to show everyone else. What I've said is already out there. Now I need to show what I'm about, personality...'
"Showing THAT [his hood being up] when he walks in, that's not what you want to see…" [Sky]
If he had come to united in the summer and we had the start to the season as spurs have had, or that we're currently on ourselves for that matter, you'd be moaning he's a waste of money and has just had 1 good game
Amazing how every single player we don't sign is the answer 😂
And villa fans wouldn't be claiming the manager is shit and has no tactics all over social media constantly when they do have a bad run of form
He's also been there for longer than any manager we've had post sir alex
Last summer, Aston Villa lost Morgan Rogers, Ezri Konsa, Ollie Watkins, Leon Bailey, Lucas Digne, Enzo Barrenechea, and Emi Martinez.
As a result of that, they had a very poor start to the season; 4-0 loss, 1-0 loss, and a 0-0 draw. ZERO goal scored in their first three games of the season.
Since then, they've been UNDEFEATED in their last 8 games in all comps — 7 wins, 1 draw.
Now, this is what you get from a top manager. He found a way to get the best out of his team despite losing that many quality players.
He's got a Chelsea reject firing upfront (Nico Jackson), and a United reject holding things down at the back (Lindelof).
Look at that Villa team and give me one reason why they're so much better than us despite us having the better players? Answer is, the manager. He is a top-level tactician and coach who demands 100% hard work from his players.
My point being, Man Utd owners/board have their own share of blame, but we should be getting much better results and performances with our players, and that's on the manager.
'Relied on individual brillance'
Was the last manager to win the league in scotland for a team that wasn't celtic or rangers (40 years on) and then had a period of dominance at one club for 26 years
😂😂😂
Why is Sir Alex Fergurson regarded as the greatest manager of all time by united fans when he doesn't even have a distinct style of play?
Pep Guardiola: Tiki-Taka.
José Mourinho: Counterattack.
Jürgen Klopp: Gegenpress.
Johan Cruyff: Total Football
Antonio Conte: Wing-Back football
Mikel Arteta: Haram Ball.
Hansi Flick: High Line football.
Sir Alex will never be regarded as the greatest manager because he relied on individual talent throughout his career.
City fans have no shame do they 😂
They were only wishing them good luck because their rivals for the title that season were manchester united
How times have changed! 😂
Back in 1993, City fans travelled to Villa Park with a banner wishing Aston Villa good luck in their title race.
Fast forward to today, and apparently Villa fans have been busy writing messages in chalk on the pavements around Villa Park to welcome City tomorrow!
One set of fans brought a banner and a bit of class… the other brought a box of crayons in the rain 🖍️😂
Never change Villa! 😉
Come on City!
There's enough going on with united now to be miserable without grifters like this making up absolute nonsense
Yet our fambase on here takes the bait every bloody time
🚨While Jason Wilcox was pushing for a move for Youri Tielemans, Christopher Vivell had reportedly identified TWO midfield targets:
— Chema Andrés
— Angelo Stiller
Both recommendations were allegedly REJECTED by Wilcox and Omar Berrada.
Manchester United are now understood to have acknowledged shortcomings in those transfer decisions. Another case of questionable decision-making behind the scenes at Manchester United
Being poor in europe is bad for the club, not the competition
Disgracing a competition is being in it, winning it and then getting found guilty of corruption on a massive scale
No one talks about the fact that all the big 6 clubs except Manchester City have disgraced the Premier League in Europe.
Manchester United: lost 2 UCL finals to Barcelona, lost a UEL final to Villareal, eliminated in the group stage 4 times in the last 10 campaigns.
Liverpool: lost 2 UCL finals to Real Madrid, lost 5-2 to Real Madrid, 4-1 to PSV Eindhoven and Napoli respectively.
Arsenal: lost 2 UCL finals to Barcelona and PSG, lost 10-2 to Bayern Munich, no UCL in over 140 years of existence.
Chelsea: lost 7-1 to Bayern Munich, 4-0 to Real Madrid, 4-1 to Barcelona and 8-2 to PSG.
You simply can't name any time Manchester City disgraced the Premier league like the rest because we're the ones saving it's reputation.
And now he's just somebody that we used to know
Gotye spent almost four minutes telling the world how badly his ex treated him in “Somebody That I Used to Know.”
Then Kimbra appeared and calmly explained that he wasn’t exactly innocent either.
Bro invited his ex onto his own breakup song and gave her a microphone to defend herself.
That’s not a duet. That’s a court hearing with background music.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
They never dated

Yesterday marked the 60th anniversary of the Aberfan disaster where 116 children and 28 adults lost their lives due to a coal slip emgulfing a primary school
Always feels like it never gets the treatment it deserves in the UK
Do people really think the likes of emery and heuzler are going to leave their jobs at villa and Brighton where they're actually backed and allowed to have bad patches, to go to a united team that looks unfit, gets slaughtered by fans and media constantly, doesn't have LB or ST?
