LLMs for Table Processing
We deal with a lot of structured and tabular data. I get asked a lot about how we can leverage LLMs for table processing. I am also interested in this because I work with reasoning tasks that often need to process tabular information and external tools that also interact with tabular information (SQL and Pandas).
I've seen a few interesting papers on this topic including challenges, ways to fine-tune models for the task, agents, and advanced prompting techniques that manipulate tables for advanced data analysis with LLMs.
This paper provides a short overview of LLMs for table processing, including some of the related research papers.
Just got off a call with a cool prospect that will not become a client

I remember a mentor saying to me

He wasn’t talking just about the upside
I never really understood deeply at that time
Now I do

“But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.”
Luke 5:16
There is great power in solitude
Bamboo spends its growth time under the dirt, 5 to 7 years hidden away.
Then, in just a couple of weeks, it shoots up meters into the sky.
People think bamboo grows fast, but it actually takes years.
You just couldn't see it.

The first trait you look for in your team is LOYALTY. All else can be taught.
No loyalty. GTFO.
Remember, even Caesar was murdered by his own “team”
If only you could see what I saw
Close to the end, when there is nothing left
The heat, intense to appear as cold.
Adrift within the falsehoods of this realm.
If it's not in this lifetime, rest assured I'll reunite with you if there is a next, for you are the love of my life.
Living through entire lifetimes
Never understood, forever adrift solitude wether at the summit or at base
Searching for her voice, echoing in the silence
To soothe the restless heart's ache...
Old dreams are anchors of the past

Master Fû's words continued to echo in my mind but now they were not just words of wisdom. They were the truth, my truth.
“Remember, moving forward means to know how to let go of the anchor."
