World-leading cardiac surgeon Asif Hasan was surrounded by the children who received the gift of life thanks to his unerring skills at the emotional climax of another memorable Pride of Britain ceremony. 🥹 Now 70 years old, Mr Hasan has just retired after 35 years of service at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, but just after receiving his Lifetime Achievement Award, he had an extra special surprise: a cast of patients who would not be alive without him. ❤️

What’s your no. 1 ASX shares mistake to avoid? Mine, is to avoid buying at the top of curve or close to top of the curve of share price, as this could cost massive upside profits & it could take years for the share price to recover from its lows to the price I bought it. DYOR

While I was reading about history of Adelaide Film Festival I discovered what we’re missing from Aust TV shows especially ABC : comedy shows! Like The Glass House & Chasers War on Everything, this previous ABC Staffer had good TV entertainment content en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amanda… imo

We need comic relief on TV in that era & now to balance out the Shakespearean drama of constant wars & natural disasters around the world. That said I do watch news and pray for peace…, but I feel Aust TV isn’t well balanced in their programming, too many drama shows

1: I’m a little sad to say that after 20 years, The Business (which started off as Lateline Business) has been cancelled. The final episode will air on 10 December. I had a lot of fun filing TV stories for this program, guest-hosting it over the years…

Moral of previous tweet, rarely Australian commercial TV news where I spend almost an hour watching news with ads & yet major international news I miss! Though I like big Aust. Infrastructure projects announcements, still international news should have a bit of time on news.
