Someone I’m working with asked me yesterday: “What does adoption actually look like?”
For me, it starts with someone turning up to a meetup who has never used @avax, asking a few questions and leaving wanting to try something.
That’s why the work @AvaxTeam1 does matters. Getting people together, helping them understand the technology and giving builders a chance to show what they’re working on.
But we also need to give people a reason to use it afterwards.
With @TippiklLabs, that could be sending someone their first tip. With Empowr, it could be taking part in a campaign.
It could be completing daily tasks on @predictfully_, using @makooor to create a sick meme or trying an autovault on @PharaohExchange.
It could be playing a game on @TheGrottoL1, building your own little community through streaming on @blaze_stream or ripping Pokémon packs on @YourGrails.
It could be heading to @Moats_app to stake, lock or burn your @TheArenaApp or @AvaxHefe tokens, or using @pangolindex to open a long or short.
Different reasons to show up, different things to enjoy. All giving people a chance to experience what we’ve been talking about and find something they want to come back for.
We can talk about bringing the next million people onchain all day.
Someone still has to help the first person get started.
What does adoption look like to you?

Building financial infrastructure is one thing. Building applications people can actually use is another.
And both are taking shape on @avax.
Institutional adoption is bringing more financial assets and services onto blockchain infrastructure.
BlackRock's BUIDL fund is available on Avalanche through @Securitize, bringing tokenized Treasury exposure into the ecosystem.
But the opportunity doesn't end with asset issuance.
Developers can build applications around tokenized assets, payments, settlement, and financial services.
Think about what that could mean.
A business managing payments across borders.
A platform connecting eligible investors to tokenized financial products.
Or an application combining digital identity with stablecoin payments.
These are different problems, but they all need infrastructure that developers can build on.
And the work is already taking shape.
NEC and @AvaLabs are exploring an architecture that combines biometric identity verification with stablecoin settlement, without storing biometric data onchain.
It's an example of how established technology and blockchain infrastructure could come together to support new applications.
Institutions are helping establish the financial infrastructure.
What developers build on top of it will help determine how useful that infrastructure becomes.
That's where the next opportunity lies for builders on Avalanche. 🔺

I believe the gap between Avalanche's execution and its market valuation is one of the biggest in crypto right now.
AVAX is about 94% below its peak. In the same stretch, Charles Schwab said it will add AVAX trading, Janus Henderson became a validator, and NYSE has tested Avalanche tech for about a year.
Markets can stay irrational for a long time, but it's worth asking:
If the builders and institutions keep arriving, what exactly is the market pricing in?

JUST IN: 62% of banks expect blockchain to be standard in their business within two years via “The Onchain Readiness Report”
Among financial businesses surveyed, it’s already standard for:
- 58% of payments companies
- 46% of brokerages
- 42% of fintechs/neobanks
As finance moves onchain, Avalanche is uniquely built for the products and services that they offer.

In DeFi, holding an asset with long-term potential does not always mean you just sit on it and wait for its price to increase.
Sometimes, the opportunity to grow your portfolio comes from knowing how to put your existing assets to work across protocols
This is where @BenqiFinance comes into play👇

The fact that Avalanche is still around despite many changes over the last 5 years and is still working tirelessly towards a goal that is just now getting traction shows the staying power of the team and what is required to last in this space. Many chains have fallen by the wayside and chase quick narratives but have no real motion, Avalanche’s vision is just getting started. The community’s concerns are being addressed. Stay tuned 🔺

Financial institutions don't move to new infrastructure overnight.
Behind every major decision are months of testing, evaluating risks, and making sure the technology meets operational and regulatory requirements.
And @avax is increasingly part of those decisions.
In Japan, Progmat, one of the country's leading security token platforms, is bringing hundreds of billions of yen in digital securities onto Avalanche.
In the US, Goldman Sachs' $100B+ Treasury fund is now accessible to eligible institutions through Lynq, a settlement network built on a permissioned Avalanche L1.
Meanwhile, the New York Stock Exchange has been evaluating Avalanche technology for its proposed platform supporting tokenized securities and round the clock trading.
Three different developments, each at a different stage.
But they highlight something important about institutional blockchain adoption.
Financial institutions need infrastructure that can accommodate their requirements for compliance, control, and settlement.
Avalanche's architecture allows institutions to build dedicated networks around those needs while benefiting from blockchain technology.
And that's becoming an increasingly important part of its role in institutional finance. 🔺
