私は前職で形式検証を想定していない仕様と実装のゲームの検証をしてました。そこでわかったと言うか、前からわかってたと言うか、仕様と実装の両方にテスト容易性とおなじく形式検証容易性があります。形式検証容易でない仕様や実装に後から形式検証をするのは検証するプロパティは推測になるわ、検証範囲は狭くなるわでいいことないんですよね。最初から仕様も実装も形式検証容易である必要があるということです。それを抜きにして無理やりパワーでやるのは、筋が悪いなあという。
テスト容易性と同じアナロジーを使えますね。テスト容易でないコードにあとからテストを足すとテストが最初からある時に比べて100倍以上時間がかかってしかも脆いテストになるのと同じことが、形式検証でもおこるということです。

Formal verification can prove that code is free of certain bugs, but historically it has only been feasible for small codebases (or required a lot of expert time).
With AI models, however, this is beginning to change. In collaboration with @theoremlabs, we used Claude to prove security properties in over one hundred real-world open-source libraries over the span of a few weeks.

iOS 26までは7割ぐらいの正答率だったのがもう間違えることがほぼなくなった Foundation Modelさまさまだな〜

妻とsetlogをしている。これが思った以上に良い効果を生んでいる。
setlogとは1時間に2秒だけ映像を撮り、短いテロップを入れて相手と共有できるアプリ。1日ごとに二分割の画面が出来上がり、スプリットスクリーンでそれぞれの行動が映し出される。不特定多数に見られることはない。
良かったのは、今まで話だけで聞いていた妻の生活がビジュアルで伝わること。僕は人の話を聞いて、その光景を頭に浮かべるのが苦手で、妻から聞いた1日の出来事も受け止めきれずに流れていってしまう。
でもビジュアルだと覚えている。昨日、彼女が買った梨が冷蔵庫にあること、職場のエアコン工事で業者に待たされたこと、扇風機の溜まった埃を取ってくれたことなどを、自分から話題にあげることができる。
向こうも、僕がルノアールでグダグダ悩んでいたことや、傘をなくしてファミマで買ったこと、編集がなかなか終わらず苦労したことを知っている。
自宅に帰ってからの会話が、事前打ち合わせがしっかりできているトークショーみたいにスムーズになった。しばらく続けてみようと思う。
