HDFC feels themselves as No 1 Bank. Ego is all time peak level. HDFC aggressively rejecting customer requests. Downgrading cards if milestone not completed.
@HDFCBank_Cares behaviour is very harsh for customers. No exceptal request accepted.
Few year ago, it was liberal for customers. Don't worry, these customer will migrate with other banks product.
HDFC is downgrading HDFC Infinia credit card to HDFC Regalia Gold for people who are unable to meet the 18 lakh spend threshold.

Don't upgrade your LTF HDFC Swiggy card into ORNG or BLCK. Simply close, and opt for HSBC Live+ or Rupay Cashback. 10% cashback on both.

I received the option to flip my current LTF HDFC Swiggy card into BLCK (priced) or orng (LTF).
I requested @HDFCBank_Cares to issue at least FYF BLCK at least. But, they denied via mail (attached herewith).
I replied as below:
"Means, you are saying that you are not ready to listen the customer request.
You issued a Life Time Free Card. After Sometimes, you are closing that card and are forcing customer to take a priced card or to take a devalued card (orng) comparing the current card.
It's a wrong business dealing & break the trust of customers.
Generally, during this type of phase out banks offer best card to their customers but you are forcing the customers to go with priced card for similar benefits.
I always appreciated HDFC but this time it's a very shit decision of the bank.
Ornge is useless card comparing current Swiggy card.
And, also you are denying for FYF which is forcing customers to think about closure of Card.
Rest on yours.
