🚨 Long Post regarding charity please read🚨 When I was thirteen someone I considered my soulmate passed away of Leukemia at age 12. Her favorite Pokemon was Dragonite, hence why it’s now mine as well. Before she passed I promised her I would always find a way to help this world. Now as an adult, I share this story not in hopes of sympathy or condolences, but as a way to empathize the importance of what I, and many others will do. I am embarking on what may be the most difficult experience I may do. I am creating a National Charity Pokédex Binder, with every generation, every regional variant, megas, the entire first partner series, and some trainers I find along the way. Someone has expressed a few times over that I won’t make the money back I pour into this. I’ve purchased, sold cards, traded slabs and more just for generation 1 to get competed. So the question is, why not donate cash. I plan to as well. I’m personally pledging an additional 5k of my own savings on top of whatever this binder auctions off for. The hope is that we get a lot of eyes on important causes. It takes on big name to see this, and it explodes and suddenly we’re saving and changing a ton of lives folks. Now the next question, who is it going to. I was blessed once to join up with @Catscollecttcg to donate a sealed booster pack of fossil to @GamersOutreach, and that’s my choice for this project. My friend Nikky died in Citrus Park, Fl, and they operate out of Florida to provide games for kids in the hospitals. The time frame is unknown. I’m working one gen at a time, but this hobby is expensive, and as you’ll see in the photos, I’m using the best cards I can afford. This is a labor of love, and a love letter to my lost love. I hope you all stay with me as I embark on what may be the biggest thing we as a community can create. A couple special thanks to share. @Greatguinaron man you helped me not quit this today. You and @Pjkitties23 are a godsend to us all. @JasonSaif48725 you’ve donated so much extras already, and have checked in progress a lot. I owe you big, gen 1 may not have been done without you. Lastly, I will need a new artist. I want hand painted binders to make these pop when it’s done. Someone help me find the right one please!
