My Discord and email got hacked on Saturday. Managed to secure my email, but not before the hacker was able to register a Discord Support account with it, then change my Discord's associated email address to something else. All this was done WITHOUT needing my 2FA?!

@discord_support my account has been hijacked, I tried submitting tickets on your support site and calling the phone line but there has been no progress. It was hacked on Saturday and I just got word the account is STILL sending messages despite it being reported. Details below.

It is now Tuesday and my account is STILL sending messages trying to hijack people. Discord still hasn't even locked the account despite it surely being reported by a lot of people. Only thing I've heard from support was likely an automated reply saying to wait for someone else.

What I've learned from this experience and my advice to everyone else with a Discord account is this: If you haven't already, create a Discord Support account with the same email as your Discord account. Getting help through a different email will lead to you being ignored.

Also worth noting I've purchased several years of Nitro and server boosts on this account. I've invested a lot of time and money into your services. The response to the situation, not just mine but your security response to the rampant hijacking in general, is very discouraging,
