A majority (53%) of FOX World Cup viewers through the Round of 32 had not watched *any soccer at all* on linear TV in the prior 12 months.
Again, the ability of broadcast TV to pull in the casual viewer is unrivaled.
We’re officially a half step from…
“the players are in violation of their fiduciary duty to win to support our economy” 🙄🙄🙄
Unsure how to react to FIFA making decisions that benefit me
BREAKING @TheAthleticFC
Folarin Balogun will be available to play the USMNT’s round of 16 match against Belgium with his one-game red-card ban suspended. Extraordinary development.

Sitting back and reveling in the European meltdown over standard CONCACAF conditions. Muahaha

Malik Tillman got stepped on. It ripped his boot and his sock. “I was in pain,” he said. New cleat for the free kick. It worked out ok.

Good #USMNT morning!
🇺🇸 Last night, the U.S. had 22 successful one-v-ones, the team's 2nd-most in a game in the last 15 years, most since 2018 vs Bolivia.
🇺🇸 It's the most by ANY team in a World Cup game since 2014 (🇧🇷 24 vs 🇨🇱).
H/t @nate_bukaty & @b_feilhaber22 for asking.

Chris Richards 83/83 completed passes are the most passes with 100% accuracy by any player in a FIFA World Cup match since 1966 👏
Participating in efforts like this produces fandom and supporters. Lifelong fandom.
More of this. Less brand promotion-only event participation.

🏆 MVP Tracker @CroesFire is here to tell you who's going to win MVP, MIP, COTY and all the awards.
🗽 @tomhaberstroh @DarthAmin & @CornPuzzle are definitely on James Dolan's enemies list, as they tackled @pablofindsout latest surveillance story way back in October 2022.
🎠 The coaching carousel is in full swing as Billy Donovan steps down, Jamahl Mosley is a dead man walking and Steve Kerr rides off into the sunset.

It's really important that you read this entire piece, but particularly that you read Chris Richards on... Chili's?
On how Chili's is... what makes us American? Why am I crying right now?
I'm ready to go to war
come for Chris Richards’ perspective on his growing role with the #USMNT ahead of the World Cup, stay for the quotes on why center backs are “a little sick in the head” and why Chili’s is “what makes us American”
