A opinion on the referendum:
1) @ElectionsAB is compromised and will never give us fair treatment. They will introduce rules against transparency at the last minute and allow the stay side to run wild with no enforcement.
2) After the aforementioned shenanigans, we still have 1/4 Albertans who are dissatisfied with canada.
Time will turn more people to a majority but the establishment will be working overtime to flood our province with immigrants and grant them voting rights.
3) The data we have gained allows us to create a new party and start targeting riding where separatism is popular, negating any dividing of the conservative vote.
4) we need to start pushing, albertanowparty.ca/
I am done with the liberal light conservatives. They don't care about Albertans and never will, we have little political power and they will always seek to appease the east at our expense.

Canada, I’m warning you now.
When Carney signs that associate member deal with the EU, here’s what happens next, step by step.
First, Trump doesn’t wait.
He doesn’t send a diplomat.
He doesn’t call a summit.
He just acts. Energy gets hit first because that’s where Canada hurts most. Oil and gas flowing south slows down or stops.
Not because Trump hates Canada, but because it’s the fastest way to make the point that choosing Europe has a price.
Then it spreads. Autos, steel, aluminum, lumber, potash, beef.
Every sector that depends on the American markte feels it within weeks, not years.
The Canadian dollar drops.
Interest rates climb.
Provinces start cutting services because the money isn’t coming in like it used to.
Europe won’t save us. They’ll issue statements. They’ll hold meetings. They’ll say they’re standing with Canada.
But they can’t buy what we sell, they can’t ship it across the ocean at the same cost, and they can’t protect us if it turns into something worse than a trade fight.
An associate membership gives them influence over our rules without giving us anything that actually replaces what we’re losing.
And here’s the part that should scare you most.
This isn’t about one election or one prime minister.
It’s about whether Canada stays a country that controls its own future or become a place where outside powers decide what we can and can’t do.
The Monroe Doctrine was written 200 hundred years ago to keep Europe out.
Trump is using it now to keep everyone out, including us if we don’t play along.
You can call it fearmongering. You can call it politics. But the math doesn’t care what you call it.
Three out of four things we sell go south.
No deal with Brussels changes that. Not now, not in five years, not in twenty.
So before you cheer for this and lift your elbows higher ask the people selling it one simple question.
What exactly replaces the American market?
Because if they can’t answer that, they’re not leading. They’re just hoping you won’t notice.
We seem to be on a suicide mission and signing that Associate Membership with the EU is just tightening the noose!
This isn’t a game!

🚨Last night we received a letter from Elections Alberta chief electoral officer, Gordon McClure. The letter advised us that voting scrutineers for the referendum were suddenly going to be restricted and limited.
Elections Alberta has ordered "that Third Party Advertiser Scrutineers will not be authorized to observe or perform scrutineer duties at voting places or counting places during the referendum."
The only voting and ballot counting scrutineers that appear to now be permitted for the October 19th Alberta referendum are scrutineers appointed by the NDP and UCP parties, both of which currently have political leaders opposing option 2 on question 10!
Democracy requires transparency.
Democracy requires accountability.
Democracy shouldn’t operate in the shadows.
Democratic oversight shouldn’t be limited to one side.
Election logistics is the primary role of a chief electoral officer. If the logistics are too difficult for this chief electoral officer, maybe it’s time to find another.
This letter was sent to us at 5:40 pm on a Friday night going into a long weekend. Given that all the registered third-party advertisers received this notice after business hours on a Friday night going into a long weekend, there’s nothing we can say or do until Tuesday morning. Reducing and limiting democratic transparency and elections scrutineering four business days before the referendum. That bureaucratic and political communications strategy says a lot.
Albertans deserve a fair and open vote, with transparency and accountability.

Very disturbing.
I asked Grok to make me an image of migrants threatening a bus driver, to go with a tweet about increasing migrant crime against Belgian bus drivers (even leading to the Belgian state bus company telling drivers to stop checking tickets).
Grok refused, stating it does not want to "blame migrants" or "single out a group".
When I provided Grok with the statistics, it still "did not want to create that kind of narrative". By "narrative" it actually means reality.
When I then asked Grok EXACTLY the same, but replaced migrants with "white guys" to go with a tweet about "increasing violence against bus drivers by white guys" it immediately complied.
So Grok is willing to create a FAKE narrative as long as it hurts white people, but it is not willing to portray factual reality if it hurts migrants.

Nine Thoughts on Why Danielle Smith Must Resign:
1. She turned a people’s petition into a process question. Hundreds of thousands signed for a clear stay-or-leave vote. The court killed the petition on consultation grounds. Smith’s answer was not to fight for a binding question. It was to put a two-step on the ballot: remain, or start a future legal process. That is not the vote that was earned. It is a delay dressed as democracy.
2. She is using the Premier’s office to campaign against independence. Neutrality was the minimum. Instead the government is spending public money to sell “sovereign Alberta within a united Canada” while she tells Albertans she will vote Remain. You do not get to activate the independence file, then put your thumb on the scale against it.
3. The Carney handshake is being sold as victory. A pipeline MOU and some federal talking points are being treated as proof the federation can be made to work. Those concessions can be reversed the moment Ottawa needs Alberta as leverage again. Independence is not a tantrum about one Prime Minister. It is an answer to a structure that has extracted from this place for decades.
4. She argued against independence with a number that does not hold. The $400 billion figure mixed debt, pensions, program spending, and startup costs. Later work put a far smaller number on actual state-building. A premier who wants to stay should make the political case. She should not scare the province with a cost that does not describe what leaving actually requires.
5. She split the party she was elected to lead. A large part of the UCP membership is sovereigntist. Senior organizers and constituency people have been on the independence side while she insists the party line is Remain. Highwood has already moved for a leadership review. That is not a fringe tantrum. It is the base noticing she will not ride with them.
6. Nomination fights and stay-home voters are the receipt. Independence-aligned candidates were kept off ballots. Calgary-Shaw went to the NDP in a safe conservative seat. People who built this government stayed home. That is what happens when a leader treats her own coalition as a problem to be managed instead of a mandate to be honoured.
7. “Sovereign within a united Canada” is the bait-and-switch. The Sovereignty Act was sold as the end of letter-writing and the start of enforcement. What we have instead is nine reform questions that still assume Ottawa’s constitution, plus a premier who will vote to stay. The nine questions may be useful. They are not independence. They are a managed protest.
8. She cannot close this file. She has said October 19 should settle it. Independence people have already said they are not going home. A Remain win under a Remain premier does not end the argument. It just leaves the movement without a government that will build the next stage: rural capacity, municipal autonomy, energy and water as provincial instruments, and a state that answers to Albertans first.
9. Resignation is the cleanest path for the cause she will not lead. Smith got people to the starting line and then ran the other way. The movement does not need her as a symbol of half-measures. It needs the field cleared so the next fight is about how Alberta governs itself after the vote — not about whether the Premier is allowed to campaign against the people who made the vote possible. Leadership review is the party mechanism. Resignation is the honest one.

My Stand Against Malicious Prosecution and Negligent Investigation:
Over 4 years have passed since the peaceful Freedom Convoy which saw many truckers and supporters, including Chris Barber and myself, arrested on the streets of Ottawa. What followed was the longest mischief trial in the history of the Commonwealth. Both of us were convicted of mischief for our part in the most peaceful and polite protest of all time, and sentenced to 18 months of house arrest.
Even more outrageous? A single group photo at a JCCF awards dinner in Toronto while surrounded by lawyers, fully allowed under my bail conditions, triggered a Canada-wide arrest warrant for an alleged breach of conditions, which did not occur. There was no investigation. No call to my lawyer. It was issued like I was a violent criminal.
Homicide detectives flew me back to Ottawa in leg shackles, I lost my job, precious time with my family, was denied bail, and spent 30 days in remand. All for a non-violent mischief case.
I'm pleased to announce that I have filed a lawsuit against the Ottawa Police, the Crown prosecutor, and others for malicious prosecution & negligent investigation because this isn’t just about me; it’s about stopping this kind of abuse so no Canadian ever faces it again.
This will be a daunting undertaking and for that reason I have started a GiveSendGo campaign in hopes to help fund the fight, including a $25,000,00 retainer and costs estimated at around $100,000.00.
I've included the campaign link below and the full statement of claim is available at officialtamaralich.com
Thank you to everyone for all your love, support, and encouragement these past few years and for helping me continue the fight.

Meet the Nigerian AHS Official Who Staffs Alberta With Nigerian Doctors: Dr. Jane Ojedokun
She is the AHS official responsible for recruiting and placing doctors across northern Alberta. We examined every public AHS welcoming statement for new physicians in that zone under her leadership. The pattern is not subtle.
Of the 18 doctors she publicly welcomed, 67% received their medical training in Nigeria. That is a higher concentration of Nigerian-trained physicians than all of her predecessors combined since 2015.
One of the countrymen she hired, Dr. Tochukwu Gideon Anizoba, who has 3 different graduation years for the same medical diploma, she praised him on behalf of the AHS for his obstetric skills even though he was legally not allowed to practice obstetrics.
Is she staffing and overseeing northern hospitals with carefully vetted physicians — or with doctors who have conflicting graduation years and suspension histories?
She does not only recruit for AHS, she also recruits for the private clinic she runs with her husband, Dr. Joseph Ojedokun: Life Medical Clinic in Whitecourt. Nearly every physician she has brought into that clinic is a Nigerian-trained foreign medical graduate.
The Ojedokuns relocated to Canada in the early 2010s seeking economic vibrancy. In 2018, while she already held public medical authority, she moved to block a competitor. When another private clinic tried to open in Whitecourt, she wrote to town council opposing it. Her words were not mild.
“Our community definitely does not deserve sub-quality doctors who have not been properly interviewed and vetted by the North Zone Medical Affairs,” she wrote. “Poor or substandard care is what will ensue if these doctors are allowed to set up a practice in our community.”
This is the same official who welcomed a man with three different graduation years for the same diploma. This is the same department that vetted and hired a doctor suspended in South Africa to practise in Beaverlodge, who sent Baby alita home when she was hours away from dying.
Town council dismissed her pushback, described her intervention as "self-serving," "socialist," and "protectionist."
Was “poor or substandard care” a genuine patient-safety concern? Or was it an argument of convenience against anyone who threatened the clinic she and her husband run? Neither the AHS nor Dr. Ojedokun responded to my media inquiry.
If that was the gatekeeping culture she practised in Whitecourt — leveraging patient-safety concerns when they served her private interests — is that now the culture applied across northern Alberta?
Baby Alita’s grandfather, Ben Ludwig, put the duty simply. Government is not for business. It is to make sure what is right is done.

The Alberta Transition Plan is now complete and available on the Alberta Transition Council website.
Its purpose is not to argue every political question about independence, design Alberta’s permanent constitution, or pretend that every future negotiation can be predicted in advance.
It answers a more practical question:
If Albertans ultimately decide to become an independent country, how do we get from here to there in a lawful, orderly and workable way?
The Plan maps that pathway in detail—laws, courts, banking, pensions, taxation, trade, borders, transportation, policing, health care, First Nations and treaty relations, international agreements, government administration and the other functions that have to continue through a transition.
One of its most important findings is that Alberta would not be starting from scratch. The institutions, people, infrastructure, businesses and public services that Albertans rely upon already exist. The task is largely to preserve what works, transfer or replace federal responsibilities where necessary, negotiate the relationships that cross borders, and build the limited sovereign functions Alberta does not presently need as a province.
In other words, the primary change is to the constitutional order and the governmental relationship between Alberta and Canada—not to ordinary life.
The objective is deliberately unremarkable:
Government continues. Courts remain open. Pensions and benefits are paid. Banks operate. Businesses continue. Goods and people move. Essential services remain available.
Ordinary life continues—but Alberta becomes responsible for its own future, under a government elected by Albertans and possessing the full constitutional authority of an independent country over its laws, finances, institutions and national decisions.
Fair warning: it is a detailed, technical and occasionally boring read. That is probably a good thing. It is a transition plan, not a mystery novel.
But for anyone who has seriously wondered “How would this actually work?”—the Plan is intended to provide the answer.
You can now read the full Alberta Transition Plan at the ATC website. albertatransitioncouncil.com…
