Say his name!!!
Hi @defense_diaries Call him out by name. Do it. The guy is named @DoctorTurtleboy He has said so many times that Sandra was blackmailing Farwell.
He also said her life was a “fucking mess”.
Have you heard the way he speaks about women? What if Allie or your daughter was on the other end of that.
Call him out. Why are people scared of him? You know he’s a disgusting human. Say it.
Blocking my ability to counter what was just said it’s not the way to illicit productive conversation. A lot of things were said, but one thing I didn’t say was anyone’s name I would like them to say the name of the person who caught their eye. People who use the word black now those are the people that matter. Why are you trying to defend someone that hasn’t even been named? Weird.
We did just a small part of the trail when we were young, this lady is a true inspiration and shows us that we can overcome the worst circumstances.
The beatings started three months after the wedding and continued for thirty-three years. Emma Gatewood’s husband broke her teeth, cracked her ribs, and beat her sometimes ten times in a single year. At a time when a husband’s violence against his wife was rarely questioned, her refuge was always the same: she would escape to the woods surrounding their farm. She often brought her children with her, teaching them to identify birds and medicinal plants.
In 1939, after her husband broke her teeth and cracked one of her ribs, Gatewood fought back by throwing a sack of flour at him and a sheriff’s deputy arrested her. The mayor of the small West Virginia town saw her battered face and helped her find safety. After thirty-three years she received a divorce and raised her last three children alone.
After reading a National Geographic article in 1949 she became intrigued by the idea that no woman had hiked the full Appalachian Trail solo. “If those men can do it, I can do it,” she said. The hike was more difficult than she expected. Much of the trail was in disrepair. She kept up a pace of 14 miles a day. In 1955, after hiking for 146 days, she became the first woman to complete the entire trail by herself in one season. She returned in 1957 and again in 1964 at the age of 76, becoming the first person to hike the AT three times.
Her feats raised public awareness of the trail. Her descriptions of the poor conditions prompted improvements. She is considered a pioneer of ultralight backpacking. She advised picking up food at local groceries and making a simple rain cape and sling bag. Emma Gatewood walked into the forest to escape from violence, but she walked out of it to make history. “I would never have started this trip if I had known how tough it was, but I couldn’t and I wouldn’t quit.”

SANDRA BIRCHMORE: BETRAYED IN LIFE. DEVALUED IN DEATH. The medical examiner's testimony in the federal murder trial of Matthew Farwell is nothing short of staggering.
What we are witnessing is not simply a series of investigative shortcomings. It is an extraordinary indictment of the institutions entrusted with investigating Sandra's death, including the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Before issuing the May 6, 2021 ruling concerning Sandra Birchmore's death, the medical examiner acknowledged among other things, having no DNA evidence whatsoever. No information about DNA on Sandra's underwear. None concerning the ligature. Nothing. A trove of missed evidence resulted in Capó Martínez often testifying she was blind to any evidence pointing to a potential homicide or suspicious death.
Sandra Birchmore was sexually exploited in life. And in death, she was further exploited by the very institutions and investigators whose solemn obligation was to investigate her death with diligence, independence, and an unwavering commitment to the truth.
This is an absolute, unmitigated travesty. A grotesque distortion of what the Massachusetts criminal justice system is supposed to represent.
The failures exposed in the courtroom before federal investigators intervened demand accountability at every level.
Sandra was not merely a body to be examined, a case to be closed, or an inconvenient death to be explained away for the protection of others. She was a human being whose life had value, whose death demanded answers, and whose dignity deserved protection.
Instead, the testimony is exposing a system that treated her death with a level of indifference that should outrage every person who believes in justice.
Sandra Birchmore deserved justice in life. She deserved a thorough and impartial investigation in death. The Commonwealth failed her in both. It's indefensible.
I have a question that I can’t find the answer to. I don’t even know why I want the answer, but the fact that I can’t find an answer makes me curious.
Under what type of release conditions did Sandra Birchmore leave the Army?
ELS?
Uncharacterized?
I’m not interested in people guessing, I want to know if anybody has seen the document. I keep wondering if she was coerced to enlist in the first place knowing she had asthma. Most everything I have been reading says she was released due to the asthma, were they going to fudge her paperwork to get her waivered? I am not watching the trial so I may not know the answer to this, but one of you may.
FYI
My recruiter had sex with me
Told me to lie about my drug history
Told me to lie about my race
The things you do when you’re groomed, and someone in a position of power tells you to.

If you look closely at the forearm of Michelangelo’s Moses, you’ll find a tiny muscle that only tightens when you lift your little finger, and since Moses has his little finger raised, Michelangelo carved that muscle tensed beneath the marble...
He poured that extraordinary knowledge of the human body into a statue carved between 1513 and 1515 for one of the most ambitious projects of his life: the tomb of Pope Julius II.
The horns on his head, which surprise almost everyone who sees them, come from the Latin Bible of the time. In the Book of Exodus, the Hebrew word describing Moses’ face as he came down from the mountain with the Ten Commandments is usually translated today as “shining,” but it is related to the Hebrew word for “horn,” and Saint Jerome’s Latin translation rendered the passage as “his face was horned.” By Michelangelo’s time, artists across Europe had been showing Moses with horns for centuries, and he followed that long tradition.
Today Moses sits in the church of San Pietro in Vincoli in Rome, looking so alive that it’s easy to forget he’s made of stone. Michelangelo seems to have felt the same way: according to a famous story, when he finished the statue, he was so proud of how real it looked that he struck it on the knee with his hammer and shouted, “Why don’t you speak?”
I’ve stood in front of him, and I can tell you that in person it really does feel as if he might answer at any moment…
This has got to be the biggest save in SNL history, and it started with a dress rehearsal that went badly.
April 8, 2000. Christopher Walken, hosting for the fourth time, plays producer Bruce Dickinson in a sketch about Blue Öyster Cult recording “Don’t Fear the Reaper.” Will Ferrell plays the cowbell player. Jimmy Fallon says that in dress rehearsal it was okay, “not even that great.”

Do all people have good in them?
Is it important to support the diversity of each person?
If your answer to these questions is yes, you are at risk of exploitation & harm.
I have studied predators for decades. Millions of people are ‘bad’ & only do good things to disguise this.

This guy has more integrity than all those other streamers. That’s how I will refer to Aidan and his crew. They stream, talk shit, demand money without giving anything in return except their obsessions on who they target for that week. Say what you want about Mike, but his heart is made of gold. He’s just a simple guy who respects most, but he also has feelings too. We aren’t made of stone. If someone fights back, like Mike, some of you start with the insults, yet it’s ok for Aidan and Will to say the most disgusting things and degrade EVERYBODY. They are jealous. They’re lonely and unhappy. This will be their lives in a few years…mark my words. Go ahead and encourage their atrociously hurtful behavior. It shows what a lowlife you are. This man runs his own businesses. I’m thinking of starting my own dog walking business because I know it can be very lucrative and you get to enjoy dogs that bring so much happiness to us humans. That’s another great characteristic of a caring human, an animal lover. You have a heart. This man would’ve been there to help out you know who, but Aidan doesn’t get what a good person is. Mike had the NERVE to tell him that he was blowing it. None of you all, whom you say that you care about Aidan, stepped in to say shit. Mike has weathered the storm of all you aholes that came after him, enjoying the pileup because you’re sick humans. Black hearts, sadistic, miserable, ugly humans. What a way to live.
Mike is now being reasonable with all sides. Mike admits he should have just reported the KR case without bias and I FULLY AGREE. Aidan isn’t a reporter. Karen fed him and Aidan spit it out, then Karen had to proofread his reports because he doesn’t have his shit together. You spreading rumors saying that Mike is against Karen is an outright lie. He said NOONE knows what happened that night. NOBODY! Mike said he still supports Karen, but you scum bag riders lie, because your daddy lied to you and like a cult, you didn’t question the veracity of the statement. You have no brains, no logic. Everyone knows Aidan is a pathological liar and some of you intelligent riders know that. Keep falling for it. Make Aidan rich. I laugh at it now. What a waste.
If you riders come on my post to insult, I’m booting your ass to block island with the rest of the deplorable degenerates. I have no patience anymore for your lies, and BS. I follow those that have some kind of compassion and who can speak with some of their own thoughts. I’ve never encountered so many vile adults in this KR community. Good luck with that.
I don’t think anybody doubted that Meredith won this.
I’m still curious on whether or not the people that won the gift cards at trivia night got those?
Over three decades ago Jerry and I saved a cat. We worked in dog rescue but when we went to pick up a couple of dogs from this house that had been shut down by animal control we saw this big pointed cat in a cage. we asked what was going to happen to him and they were going to PTS him because he was feral. I said I would take him and animal control was very happy. It was very handsome cat but he was really big and really angry.
We took him back to our house and I put him in a big 700 wire crate, I got bit multiple times and a full out attack on my arm just moving him from the trap cage to the big cage. He wasn’t neutered. He had huge jowls.
I spent the first week putting food in his cage, and just reading to him while I sat there next to the cage. Every day I moved the bowl of food a little closer to where I was sitting he finally got used to my voice and my presence. Instead of reading in bed every night I sat and read to this cat.
Week two I decided it was time to touch him again, so while he was eating, I put my finger in the crate, and I gently touched him on the shoulder. The first time he smacked me good, more blood, but not so bad this time every day we did the same thing until finally he came up to me for me to touch him without feeding him.
After a month, I felt like we had made good progress and I decided I was going to open the cage and pet him. I was so afraid he was going to get me again cause he bit me quite a few times at first day, but we had built a rapport at that point. he started pushing his head into my hand and the next thing I knew he was jumping towards my face and I thought fuck this is, he’s going to bite my face. He didn’t, though, he just wanted to snuggle in my neck, and that was the day Fester became our cat. He turned into the sweetest, most loving cat I have ever owned.
Never give up on cats, even the most feral can come around with patients love and a lot of good food.
😭😭😭
This is so horrific and heartbreaking 💔 Absolutely nothing could prepare me for that, he looked terrified! I remember seeing him on Ellen. Please give him support and a follow @EliasTheKid ! 💙💙

Just stop! This is my message for those posting comments blaming Sandra Birchmore for other sexual encounters besides Matthew Farwell. Someone commented on a Facebook post recently about Sandra Birchmore: “She’s no angel! What was done to her was wrong, but she knew what she was doing as she got older.”
That statement and others like it reflect a profound misunderstanding of grooming and childhood sexual exploitation.
As I explained on @JusticeServedTV Sandra's sexual encounters with other men cannot be separated from the grooming that began when she was just 12 years old.
Grooming is not simply about obtaining sex from a child. It is about systematically dismantling that child's understanding of love, trust, boundaries, and relationships.
Farwell exploited Sandra's vulnerabilities and her admiration for police officers. Through years of relentless manipulation, he conditioned her to associate sexual availability with affection, acceptance, and approval.
This is the reason groomers like Farwell can continue to sexually exploit victims into adulthood and leave them vulnerable to exploitation by others. That conditioning did not disappear when Sandra turned 18.
A birthday does not erase years of psychological manipulation.
What some characterize as promiscuity, actually reflects the lasting consequences of childhood sexual exploitation. Sandra's adult behavior must be understood in the context of what was done to her as a child.
As a Juvenile Court judge for more than two decades, I saw firsthand how grooming and sexual trauma can distort a young person's understanding of relationships and personal boundaries.
Stop judging and blaming Sandra for behaviors shaped by years of grooming that distorted her understanding of personal boundaries and left her vulnerable to continued sexual exploitation. Just stop.
