I'm not alone in finding Maryland-centric tv (particularly local news) hard to watch these days. The battling ads between @AngelaAlsobrook and @GovLarryHogan (and p.s. Larry Hogan is no longer our governor) are tiresome and repetitive. And plus most of us have already voted.

Washington Post leaders blocking an endorsement matters little on its own. Newspaper endorsements influence few-to-none.
It matters because it shows how quickly societal elites will capitulate to authoritarianism. They won't see it as contained and worth waiting out this time.
