Once all the refunds are out by next year, we will *not* be required to respond to anyone. Kickstarter backers, publishers, no one who isn’t working on this game with us.
Again, we have full independence and our own full financial backing now. This is what that entails.
We haven’t ghosted any backers. You have 77 updates to reread. We are clearly still around pushing to make this game without asking for any backers’ money.
If you read the update & our message, we clearly state it’s for legal reasons. We don’t want to deal with anyone thru KS.
As a reminder: we sent a backer message giving everyone an option for refund in February, and we gave them an entire year to submit their answer. We have not asked for any money from anyone as we reboot the project.
We are fully independent henceforth. Let us create in peace.

Okay... Sooo, this is how this will work:
Messages will be sent to every backer confirming whether they would accept or deny the refund, for legal reasons on March 1st, 2021. Every backer will have until March 1, 2022 to reply. After that, we are under no obligation to refund.
