First of all, Smurfcat on Pump fully recognizes the og status of the Eth Smurfcat project. Secondly, I would like to apologize to all of the Eth community members for the behaviour of some of our members in your TG group in the past few weeks/months. The admin team was not aware of it and doesn't support any of that crap. Once made aware, we removed one of our member from our group chat. I also want to reiterate that our project's foundation lies on the new paradigm the new era of meme coins offers: creator rewards program. The reason we decided to CTO the OG Smurfcat on Pump was to offer artist @NateHallinan the opportunity to receive residual money, passively, for his creation of the Smurfcat meme. We believed pump fun's creator rewards program was a right fit for Smurfcat, as it financially encourages artist to continue creating content, while not having to get involved in the trading side of things. We are proud that Nate is receiving 100% of the creator rewards for Smurfcat on Pump and we believe this differentiate our project from all the other Smurfcat project out there. I believe some of the implied "jabs" that our community was accused of were related to us stating repeatedly that creator rewards were something old school meme coins project could not offer. We still believe this to be true. And with all due respect, the Eth mod teams appears very misinformed about Smurfcat on Pump and its current team. 1. Our team didn't create a new Smurfcat coin as you suggest. We CTO'd the oldest Smurfcat project on Pump, launched over 2 and a half years ago, in April 2024, about 4 months after the Pump.fun platform creation. This is the OG Smurfcat on Pump.fun. 2. Our team didn't join your tg and spread fud. The people that did were not talking on behalf of our team. And I'm sure the same can be said about the members of the Eth communities that repeatedly spread lies about our project. After all, I remember you personally congratulate us on our endeavor, commenting on Nate's introductory post for the Pump fun project. We of course appreciate that. I'm terribly sorry that some of our member's action didn't reflect our appreciation early on. 3. I can assure you that the pump.fun team is very well aware not only of Nate's early involvement with your project, but also his involvement following the first few months of your project's creation. Nate himself told us about it. In fact, from our first conversations with Nate, we made sure to acknowledged his participation in the Eth project and clearly agreed that the Pump project was not there to try to replace or erase what he had done with you. The NFT collection that your project commissioned Nate to do is beautiful and your whole team deserves a lot of praise for making it happen. However, you stating Nate is an active member of your community is not true, or dishonest at best. He's still a member of it, but he's not actively involved in the Eth project as of my last conversations with him, a few weeks ago. Mind you, he can change his mind whenever and do whatever he wants. I know how much Nate would love for Shai's story to be developed well beyond the meme that we love. I hope our projects can help accomplish that goal.
