There's 2 ways to accumulate a large #BTC position.
- Mining
- Buying from an exchange
There's ~2.7m BTC left on exchanges and ~2.4m left to be mined.
Both of these balances are declining fast.
During this halving epoch ~676 BTC have been taken off exchanges each day and ~900 BTC have been mined each day.
Based on a continuation of that trend, as well as the known supply issuance schedule, in the year 2030 there will be more BTC left to be mined that there will be on exchanges.
That's assuming a tsunami of intuitional capital does not begin accumulating the BTC on exchanges between now and then, depleting exchange balances very quickly.
On the contrary, no matter how much capital is invested into #Bitcoin mining, the speed at which the remaining coins will be mined cannot increase, thanks to the difficulty adjustment.
In the long run, the only way to build a decently large BTC position will be via mining.
At that point the only remaining method of accumulation besides mining is to get paid in Bitcoin.

"The monetary policy is set in code and unlikely to ever change. Simply put, Bitcoin's monetary policy is not dependent on or impacted by politics or external economic factors."
