PM Donald Tusk has just sent police to storm Constitutional Tribunal building in Warsaw in the middle of the night.
Tusk waited until President Karol Nawrocki left the country before ordering the police takeover.
Nawrocki was halfway to Senegal when he abruptly turned his plane around and rushed back to Poland to confront the unfolding crisis.
The EU, which backs Donald Tusk, has STILL NOT issued a statement on this unprecedented crisis or condemned the attempted coup.

The Netherlands has a Muslim Brotherhood problem, and its own security reports act like it does not exist. The AIVD's annual report for 2025, published in April, names Russia 58 times and the Brotherhood zero times, and the NCTV terror threat assessment from June 2026 runs page after page on jihadists and online radicalisation without a single line on the Brotherhood either.
This is the same country whose parliament voted on 17 March to ban the Brotherhood and the organisations linked to it. Seven months later there is still NO ban, and last Friday MPs had to ask the justice minister what the government knows about these networks.
You cannot ban what you refuse to write down.
BTW, the Muslim Brotherhood is banned in the UAE.

Het kabinet heeft eindelijk een plan voor box 3 en ik kan u zeggen: het wordt namelijk: Hobbelig!
Dat zei Staatssecretaris Eelco Eerenberg vandaag zelf in de Kamer en dus is het waar. De komende twee jaar gaat zo ongeveer alle ICT-capaciteit van de fiscus op aan de nieuwe vermogenswinstheffing en een paar andere belastingwijzigingen. Er is pas weer ruimte in 2029
Dus even kort: Dezelfde dienst die de toeslagenaffaire veroorzaakte en jarenlang onrechtmatig box 3 heeft geheven, gaat nu een compleet nieuw systeem bouwen terwijl alle andere vernieuwing stilligt.
Senatoren waarschuwden deze week al dat banken en Belastingdienst er nog niet klaar voor zijn. Het kabinet drukt toch door, want de deadline gaat voor.
Dat wordt dus hobbelig!
En wie betaalt de rekening als het misgaat? Niet de staatssecretaris. Niet de ambtenaar die in alle vrolijkheid "hobbelig" in zijn speech schreef.
Hobbelig. Zo noem je een fietspad.
Niet je belastingstelsel.
