Heres my opinion on the massive hate being directed towards @pudgypenguins right now:
Pudgy Penguins are not Abstract and Abstract is not Pudgy Penguins
Yes @LucaNetz Is a SUPER overly ambitious person, Likely because he comes from very humble beginnings and yet has had so much success. Is he cocky? yes. Does he deliver? 90% of the time. Did his ambition fail him this time? HELL yes.
But for 1, a founder is not the company, I can hate Tim Cook for whatever reason and still invest in apple/buy an Iphone
2. Companies branch out and try to develop new products all the time, often failing and losing money! its completely normal. After the pengu drop, Luca was on a high and wanted to keep crushing it, so he tried to build a new blockchain. It failed miserably. Is that the fault of Pudgy Penguins the IP? FK NO. If anything Penguins suffered the most because of this failed business venture.
3. Pudgy Penguins are their own entity. Outside of Luca, Outside of abstract, and outside of your butthurt feelings.
Dont get me wrong, I feel you. I wasted many hours grinding abstract, But I knew from the start that I was only doing it to FARM! I wanted financial gain so I INVESTED MY OWN TIME and I took a loss on that investment as did hundreds of others. Thats what INVESTING is!
Its very unfortunate but it does not have anything to do with pudgy penguins

We all knew full well that we were farming Abstract or else we wouldn't have been on it.. The shit was boring, slow, and took a damn hour to bridge funds out.
