The Navier-Stokes equations govern all fluid flow. Whether smooth solutions always exist in 3D is a $1M Clay Millennium Prize problem unsolved for 100+ years. New preprint introduces a geometric approach: embed the angle between velocity and vorticity directly into the mathematical space where the equations live. When fluid is "Beltrami-aligned" (velocity parallel to vorticity), turbulent energy cascade shuts off. We make this precise and prove it implies regularity β€” conditionally. We also prove what CAN'T work: no local geometric deformation of space can absorb the pressure nonlocality that makes this problem hard. So we know exactly what's missing. That's progress. Preprint: zenodo.org/records/19324392 Built using a four-node human-AI protocol: geometric intuition + strategic framing + exhaustive exploration + rigorous verification. One day of work. @drxwilhelm would really be interested in your feedback on this one too. Also working on V10 of MFT (Mobius Field Theory) with some exciting stuff to add. Today we're concluding a research grant extended to @eliottmea, who picked up a very challenging topic to work on: how to build an effective oracle? Over the course of the grant, our talented young researcher put his discoveries in two documents: the first, A Mathematically Rigorous Framework for Cross-Exchange Price Discovery, proposes a framework for aggregating prices across multiple exchanges into a single manipulation-resistant feed, anchored by a decentralized arbitrage network, and the second, Incentive Compatibility in a Discriminatory Limit-Order Auction, takes a mechanism design lens β€” asking whether it's possible to construct an auction where honest price reporting simply becomes the rational thing to do. Read here: github.com/elimmea/oracle At @Kaspa_KEF, we believe investing in #Kaspa means investing in faithful talents who are dedicated in #Kaspa. We're proud to have supported @eliottmea in this work, and we look forward to seeing more promising research proposals!

Proposal accepted and executed! $IGRA rewards activated for all active attesters. Thanks to every delegate who voted. Detailed attester setup guide: igra-labs.gitbook.io/igralab…. For support, reach out to @argonmining or join our Discord (discord.gg/igralabs), experienced node operators are active and happy to help.
DAO proposal to fully activate attestation protocol is live: governance.igralabs.com/prop… This is the second of two proposals that activate the protocol with the full $IGRA token rewards. Background The Attestation Protocol distributes two types of rewards to attesters: $iKAS (native token) and $IGRA (staking emissions). Both use a per-share accumulator model to track how much each attester is owed. As the protocol matures and prepares for $IGRA emission activation, this is a natural point to refine the reward distribution mechanics end-to-end β€” widening numerical headroom, streamlining the accounting model, and improving how protocol statistics are surfaced. Separately, attesters today must sign and submit attestations from the same address that holds their stake. This means staking keys must be hot, which is a security limitation for professional operators. This Proposal Releases 7,500,000 IGRA from the Ecosystem & Rewards vesting pool (pool 0) to the `StakeRewardsController` and sets the emission rate to 1,500 pips (15% annualized). Adds `attestDelegated`, allowing a controller (staker) to authorize a separate operator to submit attestations via EIP-712 signed, time-bounded delegations. Challenger functions are updated with delegation-aware signatures. Attestation facets are upgraded via Diamond Cut to support these new capabilities. Who can vote on this proposal? Any IGRA holder, the voting is open.

We are publishing a draft of our research paper: "Igra Protocol: Leaderless Two-Phase Coordination with CRDT-Based Threshold Signing": github.com/IgraLabs/research… The paper presents a leaderless coordination protocol for threshold signing on UTXO-based blockchains, combining two-phase quorum voting with CRDT-based signature propagation to guarantee at most one transaction signed per event, even under crash faults and temporary network partitions. Motivation This work originates from a concrete engineering challenge: designing a production-ready scalable exit bridge from Igra Network to Kaspa L1. Existing approaches uniformly require one of: a privileged coordinator, BFT consensus infrastructure, hardware attestation (HSMs), or overcollateralized custody. Each carries tradeoffs that are incompatible with our target security and operational model. Trustless solutions β€” specifically, ZK opcode support on Kaspa L1 β€” would eliminate the federated custody model entirely. However, these remain active R&D initiatives with no production timeline. Igra Network's operational requirements call for a deployable bridge by Q4 2026. Contribution Our R&D team, led by @dimdumon, developed both a formal protocol specification and a reference implementation in Rust, targeting automated exit bridge operation with Hyperlane v3 integration. The design is intended to utilize Igra attester nodes as bridge validators under the economic security model described in the Igra Attesting Protocol. The protocol is UTXO-chain-agnostic by design. With a PSKT adapter layer, the same coordination mechanism extends to Bitcoin β€” requiring no protocol changes on either Bitcoin or Kaspa. Current limitations The protocol guarantees safety under crash-fault assumptions with non-equivocating signers. Full Byzantine fault tolerance is deferred and identified as future work. We state this explicitly and invite scrutiny of the trust model. Call for review We invite researchers and engineers to review the paper and engage in substantive technical dialogue. We are also offering a grant to teams interested in accelerating this work toward production deployment. We believe this protocol offers a novel coordination model for UTXO exit bridges that does not require BFT consensus infrastructure, hardware attestation, or overcollateralized custody. We invite the community to stress-test that claim.

Safe{Wallet} is now live on Igra Mainnet: safe.igralabs.com. DAOs, teams, and protocols building on Igra can now manage treasuries and multisig operations natively on-chain. Safe is the industry-standard multisig smart contract wallet where no single key controls funds, threshold logic is enforced on-chain, not in the UI. It currently secures over $60B across EVM chains. We've deployed the canonical bytecode identical Safe 1.5.0 contracts on Igra Mainnet: igra-labs.gitbook.io/igralab… The UI is self-hosted by Igra Association at safe.igralabs.com with no fees collected, no modifications to Safe's core contracts. Try it out, set up your multisig, ask questions. For moving significant liquidity: we'll signal when bridge security upgrades are complete post-ZAP.

It’s official: @ELLIPAL has gone above and beyond to fully embrace the #Kaspa ecosystem, honoring their commitment made last Christmas. The integration is now live, and more than what they promised: #Kaspa L1 supported on the Titan series; @Kasplex supported across the entire product line, including the Titan series and X Card. In a market where security is everything, @ELLIPAL gives #Kaspa users a smarter way to stay in control: no cables, no Bluetooth, no unnecessary exposure. Just secure, independent, next-level self-custody designed for serious holders. We are currently crafting a special batch of #Kaspa x @Kasplex co-branded wallets. We can’t wait to hand these out to our beloved #Kaspa Fam during our offline events this year. See you on the road. 🌍 ellipal.com/pages/kaspa-wall…

yes. but the point is that in a block DAG, the individual txn can be rejected while the block remains part of the DAG (hence the txs is β€œseen” by block explorers). The reasoning is subtle but I can go into it if there’s interest

Michael Sutton's short post is HUGE! He noted that Kaspa is switching all L1 prover required hashes to BLAKE3. Technically speaking This refers to the hash functions used when validating cryptographic proofs on Layer 1. These hashes appear in systems that verify commitments, Merkle proofs, covenant logic, and other proof based mechanisms that advanced transaction logic relies on. A hash function is a cryptographic fingerprint. It converts any input into a fixed length output. Blockchains use hashes constantly for block linking, transaction IDs, and proof validation. Kaspa is moving these prover related hashing operations to BLAKE3, a modern cryptographic hash designed for high performance computing environments. BLAKE3 offers several important advantages: β€’ Extremely fast hashing compared with legacy functions like SHA256 β€’ Efficient parallel execution across CPU cores β€’ Low memory overhead for nodes β€’ Strong modern cryptographic security β€’ Efficient handling of large or streaming inputs In raw performance terms, BLAKE3 can be several times faster than SHA256 depending on the workload. For a network like Kaspa, where validation happens continuously across a high block rate architecture, faster hashing directly improves node efficiency and proof verification performance. Standardizing on BLAKE3 for prover related hashing also simplifies the cryptographic stack for developers building advanced functionality on the network. Simply Put Kaspa is upgrading the cryptographic engine that verifies proofs. So What? Why does that matter? Because the future of blockchains will involve more proof based systems: β€’ programmable transactions β€’ covenant logic β€’ zero knowledge proofs β€’ complex validation systems β€’ machine driven transaction activity All of these require heavy hashing. By switching to BLAKE3, Kaspa is preparing the network to handle those workloads without slowing down nodes. This is part of the larger direction the Kaspa core developers have been building toward for years: a network designed for high throughput and real time validation. As AI systems, automated markets, and machine to machine economies emerge, infrastructure will need to support constant verification of transactions and proofs in real time. Faster cryptographic primitives help make that possible. This change does not alter Kaspa’s proof of work or its block structure. Instead, it strengthens the underlying validation layer that future capabilities will depend on. In other words, it is another quiet step in preparing Kaspa for a world where decentralized systems must operate at global scale and machine speed.
