A few days back, I had a meeting with a potential client. The reason I’m sharing this is to show you that you don’t need to sell, instead, try helping people and that will make you more money in the long run. It was a random meeting. I was in touch with him for more than 2 weeks. I never got the chance to have a call with him. But finally, we had a call. And he told me 1 thing. He already knew everything about my services, the types of content I could create, and how I could help him make money with it. But he wasn’t sure if I could do all that. And this is something everyone faces when they are looking to hire someone. Because they don’t know the people and don’t have any idea about their skills. So, instead of asking him to work with me for a month for a high price to get the idea, I offered him a 1-week trial. It was for “X” amount that he also agreed on. I didn’t even try to pitch him at all during the entire meeting. But still, I got the chance. It was a win-win for both of us because he’ll now get the experience of my service for such a low price, which saves his time, and for me, I’m getting an “X” amount to show my skills to a potential client. If you are also offering any services to individuals or businesses, find a way in which you can provide your potential clients a taste of your services. It will help you close more deals and help you increase your retention rate. One more thing to learn from this: you will close 3x more deals in the follow-ups. I hope you find it valuable. I am not a patient type. I can't just wait for 30 years to be a millionaire. I often set higher goals thinking it will help me to get results faster. But I never got the desired results.
