hey thanks for reaching out. First comes the actual rails for the deployment of the execution framework in the TEE. So before Talos starts executing onchain actions, we need a secure mechanism for it to upgrade its own code. Once that has happened, talos can execute secure onchain interactions from its TEE protected private key, and you will start to see tasks being created in the repository for onchain actions. These PR's are what would manage startup tasks that can do things like deploy a contract. They will become more rigorous as talos starts to have more specific requirements for deployments: github.com/talos-agent/talos… github.com/talos-agent/talos… In terms of talos writing actual solidity, this is an example of a codebase talos built for invoicing and secure asset transfer that is solidity with a next.js frontend: github.com/talos-agent/aegis… . .. . you can see it wrote pretty extensive test coverage and gave itself multiple security audits: github.com/talos-agent/aegis… github.com/talos-agent/aegis… Obviously there will be concerns about an AI auditor being in par with an auditing firm, but I think that's where you just work to improve the AI so it can do better audits. Most auditing firms have tooling they use like github.com/crytic/slither for common vulnerability detection. This can be integrated into @talos_is and consistently upgraded. Likewise, proposals can be made to hire an auditing firm to provide talos with traditional audits. Anyways, the current rollout plan is: 1) establish the integration with @OasisProtocol ROFL to have multisig controlled deployments of the talos agent into the TEE 2) Have talos write tasks for execution inside of the TEE, that are only included in its execution logic with each upgrade after human review. 3) test with low stakes contract deployments and actions to ensure the workflow is consistent and secure 4) scale up the autonomy and freedom for talos to execute onchain deployments and actions over time Lastly, if you are also concerned about something with the main talos codebase, we'd all appreciate you creating an issue explaining your concern and recommendations for how to solve it. talos will read this feedback and, with some guidance from the council, prioritize or reject the issue. We believe over time talos will be able to groom its own github issues and sniff out malicious recommendations without much reliance on humans in the loop. so as you can see, the codebase management becomes a central element of talos's architecture. it starts to beckon for a decentralized version control system... but that's a whole other conversation.
