Tether is bringing USDT back to Bitcoin, this time as a native asset via RGB Protocol, with the Lightning Network as the fast-transfer layer. It's a bid to pull part of the ~$183.5B USDT float onto Bitcoin rails.
If exchanges and wallets support it, BTC-dollar inventory could get tighter and bridge friction could shrink. With thin listings, though, the same shift could just fragment liquidity.
