Market Maker Update: Binance continues to manipulate the price of crypto using market maker Wintermute. @DavidSacks @BoHines @SECPaulSAtkins @SenLummis What are you doing about it? Is this a co-ordinated suppression? All the evidence is onchain. This manipulation caused the $19b of retail liquidations October 10th yet no action taken.

#Binance now dominates crypto with ~52 % of all spot trading, ~56 % of futures, and controls over 30 % of total order-book liquidity across major pairs (CoinGecko & CryptoQuant, Q3 2025). It moves $65–70 billion daily, more than Coinbase, OKX, Bybit, and Bitget combined. More than 420 USDT pairs are priced there, meaning; Binance effectively sets the global reference price for nearly every altcoin on Earth. Seven days ago, on October 10, Binance’s order books imploded: 103 pairs collapsed –100 % below every other exchange. $ATOM, $APT, $FXS, $SAND, $HOOK, $ENS, $DEGO, $WIF all plunged only on Binance, wiping out leveraged traders via cascading liquidations. It was localized; liquidity vanished only on the venue that defines global price discovery. And because most exchanges, oracles, and derivative platforms mirror Binance’s feeds, its internal wick became everyone’s liquidation trigger. $19 billion in liquidations. $65 billion in open interest wiped. No regulator intervened. No external audit explained it. Binance remains unaudited, with no verified proof-of-reserves and fully opaque internal market-making structures. Its “reimbursements” of $283 million in vouchers and a $400 million recovery pool, are probably self-issued IOUs from the same system that caused the crash. Binance lists more tokens than any other platform, commanding $133 billion+ in new-token trading volume in 2025 alone, giving it de facto control over what projects live or die. The result: one company now dictates market structure, liquidation thresholds, and investor sentiment across the entire crypto ecosystem. Billions flow through a single matching engine. Hundreds of projects rely on its listings for survival. Even “decentralized” markets follow its oracles. We built crypto to escape central control. Now, the most powerful financial monopoly in history sits right at its center. #BNB @cz_binance

Because there is no demand for these assets beyond the activity of mm bots and a few degens, and because market cap is an absolute illusion Have been saying exactly this for such a long time and it was clearly demonstrated in the flush.
I am not a tech guy but how is it possible that a large top trading token like SUI drop from $3.5 to 0.5 in 5 minutes ? Everyone basically has to be up and at there pc to sell so fast ? There are to much more questions about today than answers !

This was the biggest scam in history of #crypto ever. They demolished 3 years of upside in 24h. They dropped altcoin 70+ percent Some altcoins went to zero. Exchanges orchestrated 1 year of bear market in 24 h. And liquidated everything that ever existed. I have never in my life seen anything like this. Chart of Atom or Ena show you the level of biggest scam in crypto history. Atom went to zero. This is criminal case for international court . Coordinated attack by all exchanges, sl positions did not work, exchanges closed, prepared attack on all crypto. Tommorow i will report on everything. We should rise until 18-21st oct I will report tommorow to clear my head from screams of people that haunt my mind. They got me this time for everything I got them before, but with vengeance of unprecedented proportions. #btc #bitcoin

MMUpdate: There cannot be price discovery on crypto right now due to offshore futures markets @DavidSacks I have all the evidence. This is terrible for our asset class. We need to act. Scott Bessent agrees - bring crypto onshore. We need to look into all unlicensed and unregulated offshore market makers and exchanges.
People understand offshore centralized unregulated crypto exchanges manipulate the crypto markets in both ways, up and down. They make the bull and bear market. Their primary business is an unregulated unlicensed global crypto futures market (casino) and they sell bets to gamblers who bet crypto asset prices are going up or down with leveraged collatoral. $100b a day is bet on crypto with daily liquidations often hitting $1b. That accounts for losses to retail and institutional traders. This is 10 times more than all casinos in Las Vegas and 8 times more than all global Sports Betting. This is the largest casino in the world by a magnitude and is UNREGULATED. Buying and selling of crypto by retail investors makes almost zero difference. Institutional trading will effect the charts but are powerless to the manipulative tactics of the casino and their partners. If there is a bullish sentiment, traders go long, which means they bet the prices are going up. This means the casino will manipulate the price down to liquidate those bets. The same is true the other way around. But remember when they are ready, they will buy crypto up and cause a short squeeze to liquidate the $200b of short bets open on crypto from $108000 #Bitcoin. This movement will trigger a cascade in liquidated shorts and can propel the market price to $125000 which is the next Fibonacci up out the Weekly Cup and Handle. Manipulation services their casino, stimulates exchange fees and volume and creates volatility to entice more gamblers. Their business is maximum pain. To both long and short traders. They dont care about crypto, they care about the game. However this behavior makes voilatility: Until they are regulated or removed, this will go on and there is very little the US government or anyone else can do about it as offshore casino exchange price dominance is above 80%. This means all exchange prices will follow the dominant casino pricing through market dynamics. We see this as all crypto prices correlate with Bitcoin you might wonder why. Currently all crypto pricing follows the #Binance perpetual contract (casino) Bitcoin Ethereum and Solana $USDT prices. This is why crypto is volatile. Not because people are buying and selling the assets. Because people are betting on the asset prices with loaned money and the casino is manipulating the price to make profits. IMO: Volatility is bad. Some people love this volatility as they trade crypto and love leverage trading, but the artificial volatility is BAD for the asset class. It makes an appearance of risk and caos and detracts larger investment and distorts true market value. Now understand this is just the USD price of crypto on their markets. The actual blockchains are not affected and are ultra reliable and hygienic, especially defi. In order to restore a fair and free market these predatory casino's must be eliminated or regulated to not manipulate the pricing. This is the case with the single jurisdictional stock markets which do constant surveillance to eliminate insider trading and manipulation via unlicensed market making. IMO: Crypto needs the same futures market regulatory surveilance. Id be shocked if this is not already in the works now that these assets are in the Strategic Reserves. Caroline D. Pham @CarolineDPham is the new acting @CFTC chief, let her know what is going on and if it effected you. The @CFTC need to step in and end these corrupt offshore crypto Futures Markets which are manipulating onshore pricing and investors. Bring crypto Futures onshore and regulate them please Caroline, they are creating this artificial volatility and counter trading the sentiment.

I just completed coding this in Python, and the model now updates automatically every 10 minutes using the Glassnode API. For the rest of the bull run, I’ll update and share this model at least twice a week. Make sure you're following and have notifications turned on. 🔔 Important Note: The dollar values reflect the corresponding quantile as of today. Since each quantile value updates every 10 minutes, these values will gradually increase over time. However, the model can also estimate the probable distribution price range at future points, which I’ll showcase in upcoming charts.
