Yesterday I looked at dozens of public/private robotics companies, and $PDYN stood out.
I see more asymmetric upside, a vertically integrated platform and a much larger unrealized TAM than the current valuation reflects.
PDYN operates across multiple layers of the defense robotics stack:
β’ Machine intelligence: Palladyne IQ gives individual robots perception, reasoning and adaptive autonomy at the edge
β’ Collaborative autonomy: SwarmOS coordinates drones, robots and sensors across different platforms
β’ Flight computing: BRAIN flight computers provide guidance, navigation and control
β’ Systems integration: Combines autonomy software with avionics, sensors and third party platforms
β’ Platform development: Develops UAVs and attritable systems such as Gremlin X and Banshee
β’ Aerospace engineering: Provides rapid design, prototyping and UAV engineering
β’ Domestic manufacturing: Precision machining, fabrication and component assembly
This gives PDYN the flexibility to sell software, supply avionics, integrate with third party platforms or deliver complete autonomous systems.
The company has not proven every layer at scale, but that is where I see the opportunity.
