Kairo Vault is now live on XRPL mainnet.
Paste any r-address and see the wallet: balances, tokens, AMM positions, escrows, NFTs, history. You never connect a wallet. No keys, no signing, no custody. It just reads the ledger.
Pro is free for everyone until the end of the year.

We reviewed the reference code for BIS Working Paper 1374 (github.com/bis-med-it/sdmx-b… at commit 553c740). The prototype anchors SDMX statistics on the XRP Ledger. Its hashing and Merkle construction match the paper and we found no problem with them.
We emailed the repo's SECURITY.md contact on 9 September and sent the review there on 14 October, asking that it go to the authors. No reply so far. Testing used a local copy and DevNet only; no BIS system was contacted. Harness and responses on request.
We read the paper as currently published on bis.org. The version in the Statistical Journal of the IAOS was not reviewed. The paper's disclaimer says it is not an endorsement of any technology by the BIS or the authors.
KVT Productions is back with another banger 🎧

The code behind the census is now open source (MIT):
- finds the XRP tied up in removable objects on an XRP Ledger account
- reads two public servers and only builds a plan when they agree
- builds unsigned cleanup transactions, one at a time for any wallet or as a Batch where supported, with the right NoRipple setting so the 0.2 XRP actually frees up
- also offers to clear unused tickets
- plus the census tools and the method, so you can see exactly how the 544,453 XRP was counted, or run your own
It's keyless: it never asks for a key and never signs. A prototype for builders and wallets, not an app yet.
Set a trust line's limit to 0 and the 0.2 XRP comes back, right? Not always.
152,455 trust lines on the XRP Ledger are at limit 0 with no balance, but still tie up 0.2 XRP of reserve each: 30,491 XRP across 15,915 accounts.
Almost all of them (97%) because NoRipple doesn't match the account's DefaultRipple setting. Limit 0 alone doesn't fix that. One TrustSet with the matching NoRipple does. Tested on testnet.

If you're building a wallet and want cleanup in it, the library is plain Node with no dependencies. Happy to help.
xahc 1.13.0 is out 🛠️
Almost all of it comes from one field report: @Khorhito_E_S ran xahc end to end on a real Xahau hook and wrote up each place it fell short. Thank you!
What's new:
- sim now runs 12 more Hook API functions (slots, sto, keylets, util_verify) instead of stopping
- fuzz says NOT APPLICABLE instead of false failures on hooks that aren't payment limiters
- prove --timeout gives a clear INCONCLUSIVE instead of running on with no output
- build works with the classic hookapi.h on new clang, and takes --cflag
cargo install xahc
