People who buy the 30th anniversary Pokémon set in 2026 are idiots.
This set will be printed in larger quantities than any other Pokémon set before it. Scalpers will completely burn themselves with this set, and this will lead to a brief “panic” in the Pokémon market regarding current sets.
Very old cards shouldn’t be affected by this.
My advice: buy that crap in 2027.

I always wonder how much money the scalpers have. Will they have enough to buy everything, or will there be so much on the market this time that they simply can’t buy it all?
When will they pass the “break-even” point and run out of money? In the end, it is just printed cardboard it costs them nothing to produce.
I think with this set, they can just go ahead and print as much as they want and make a ton of money.
