3. Clear divisions between new and old fans. There's such an obvious, strong inverse relationship between what each group loves and hates. Swearing? New fans love. Old fans hate. Ignoring minor infractions? Old fans say play on. New fans can't get over "the rules!"

On the old/young fans...@curlercups. He's gaining probably 2 younger fans for every older one he loses. The sport will be fine.

4. Broadcasts. Old fans NEED it on cable TV. New fans want it online 24/7 somewhere easy to stream.

The general vibe of the instagram reels and tiktok posts about curling just feels "more" this cycle. Like more than the usual bump. I think we earned some real fans that can be retained if we give them something else to continue with (cue the upcoming events and @rockleaguecurl)
