The Warriors had no other option besides running back a 37-45 aging roster 👌 #BeGrateful

Steve Kerr today on Draymond Green’s comments on Lendeborg:
“Yeah, I think that’s a lot to put on a young guy who hasn’t played a game yet. So that’s the last thing I’m thinking about. But I know he’s ready to play, and contribute, and be one of our best players. It’s obvious.”
Draymond and Taylor Rooks discuss why Yaxel Lendeborg is the next face of the franchise for the Warriors
"The Golden State Warriors has found the next face of the franchise... we're gonna talk Rookie of the Year next, that's my pick... we had open practice, we do the singing, this dude went up in the crowd and the fans loved it, they were going crazy... We're all underneath the rim in the paint and Steve's going crazy like 'come on guys' and he's in the tunnel signing autographs and Steve has to go get him... I told him last night, I said 'Hey, everybody's gonna be joking, you're a rookie but don't lose that cause that's actually what Steph Curry would do."

Georges Niang on Yaxel Lendeborg’s advanced physicality as a rookie: “Usually there’s a point from training camp to preseason where you’re like, ‘Yeah, this isn’t college. That kind of physicality isn’t gonna get it done.’ But he’s running people over time after time.”

.@KevinGarnett5KG talks about Yaxel:
"Given the kid from Michigan, I love him. I think he's going to be the 1st part of the rebuilding of having young pieces in there. That kid actually, you can give him the ball and he can get some money bro. He got that star game . . . He's strong. I don't know if everybody understand, I think he a little older than everybody too. He's a little more mature. He bounced around a little bit, but he has a mature game. I think what they wanted with Wiseman and Kuminga, they're getting with this kid because this kid has a throttle, but he's low throttle. He doesn't seem like he has an ego . . ."

Yaxel Lendeborg on his ankle: “Not as bad as it looked. Well, if it looked bad, I don’t know.”
“I think I’m all right. We’ll see how it is tomorrow.”

Yaxel said he appreciates Steph, Draymond and a variety of other people telling him to be aggressive. He said he texted both guys after the first game looking for some advice — and the message was the same: Keep being aggressive and try to make an impact on the game.

Jimmy talks about how he feels heading into Year 16:
"Great! My knee aches a little bit, but outside of that, I feel amazing. I'm super blessed to be able to play for some amazing organizations with some Hall of Fame players and I can say, I am probably with the greatest player that I have ever played with right now in this team for the greatest organization, so 16 years in and to end up over here with the Warriors, couldn't ask for a better story."
