Dalton-Puello and this tomorrow is elite, fantastic boxing. Sadly it’s really lacking most weeks. My DAZN contract is due Nov 15 and I think I’m going to cancel…

Must have been a real inconvenience for some youtubers to have to ask a few questions about a fight between 2 of the best 140 pound fighters on the planet before getting onto the far more important matters of banter and promoter wars this week.

Boxing sucks right now. There are no fights to get excited for. Boxers are now promoters and don’t care about giving the fans the best fights

Decided to knock the blue tick on the head. To be honest, I didn’t really notice much difference in engagement, so let’s see how I get on without it! Going to mix things up a bit & get more content out on Instagram & Facebook. 🥊📱But I still love you all though! 😉

There's SO much more to the FazSportz story. I've pieced together a timeline of where he came from, how he built his following, the stories he 'broke', the fake giveaway, his possible motives, and some of the frankly 'Faztastical' things he told people privately about himself. Faz reached out by email last night to apologise. We exchanged several messages, and to his credit, he answered a lot of my questions, including making some significant admissions about the giveaway. He then deactivated his X account again, shortly after I sent him a further set of questions about claims he'd made to others concerning his professional background. He says the racial abuse became too much, which I take seriously. His account was protected, replies were disabled, and I couldn't find any public mentions when I checked at around 11pm UK time. That doesn't rule out abuse in DMs, and I've offered to investigate and call out anyone responsible. Anyway, I've got some actual work to get through first. Then I'll put the full story together. There's quite a bit to unpack. #Boxing
Still dying about the FazSportz situation. Was a typical sports fan on here for years, woke up one day and decided he was gonna become a boxing journo. Was all over everyone’s feeds for 2 weeks, tried to con everyone to gain more followers, got exposed then ran off the app 😹

Boxing has the lowest barrier to entry of any industry in the world. And I’m not just talking about sport. You won’t find another industry thats as unprofessional and incompetent like boxing.

Changes his story and won't admit fault. Imagine blaming an unnamed IG account for there being fake engagement in your competitions. Prove it.

He temporarily came back yesterday but I think he deactivated again. I took these screenshots. It looks like he really wants to come back and probably will under a different account. @chegscott209 @BoxLiveApp @HamedsBoxing @UKFightNight1 @CurtP_

The scary thing is people in boxing were reposting his nonsense as a credible source. My dog could see he was a charlatan

Problems you’ll face with Ennis, 1) He’s on a platform with limited reach in the US. Hard to build a star. 2) Matchroom don’t have many quality 147s you can match him with. 3) People won’t exactly be lining up to face him because the money won’t be worth the risk.

Has FazSports verified the Shakur news yet? I think I’ll wait until I hear it from him, until then it’s just all speculation.

Find it hilarious this guy is living his life somewhere and has no idea he’s the center of a Boxing Twitter fraud scandal

The FazSports situation just highlights how unserious the boxing media landscape is. Literally anyone can wake up one day and say, “I’m gonna be a boxing reporter,” start reporting 'news' and 'exclusives' and all of a sudden they’re everywhere being cited as a legit source
