Anyone thinking node graphs are the only pro way of doing things in generative AI is feeding you horseshit.
You don’t need to ever even touch a node graph to do insanely high end technical and creatively max controlled work. That’s a mindset I’ve seen scope creep on forever in the community and it’s just highly untrue and it shouldn’t discourage people. Many people tell me they don’t try to go after clients or do certain work cause they don’t wanna learn comfy or screw with nodes and you absolutely do not have to.
I don’t fuck with nodes, and I’ll put my work up against anyone’s comparatively. 🤷♂️
Everyone is different, so don’t let the hype or overwhelming marketing manipulate you to think you needing anything but your brain, an eagerness to experiment and create, and discipline to keep going when it’s hard no matter what. ❤️

The world: near-future Toronto. Aging is solved. Nutrition is solved — pennies a meal. And people are quietly starving. A chef whose perfect food is admired but never loved, and her twin brother, an engineer racing to feed twelve billion people, build a food replicator in a garage.
The replicator made abundance real in the science fiction I grew up on: say a meal, dinner appears. Nobody ever asked whose cooking the machine learned.
The chef and the engineer are my brother and me — almost. He's in tech; I'm in film. We founded a startup, built an AI filmmaking app, and I made this film with it: the garage, the whiteboards, the runway math, the arguments about what the machine is for — all ours. Our father invested in us. In the film, Benjie invests in his twins. And at home I'm raising two-year-old twins of my own. This is the table I want to set for them.
It took everything I have. If it moves you, share it — it genuinely helps.
