you're actually obtusely stupid if you think EAC did anything substantial beyond making it harder for some people to play, regardless if they used mods or not
I don't know how to feel about this.
On one hand, I can understand the potential for cheating actually ruining the natural flow of a game like HD2, but at the same time getting rid of usage of mods that help improve quality of life to the game is... Not okay.

Let alone the fact that there are mods out there that help improve sound mixing for this game because by default, HD2's sound mixing scrapes crusted shit off of a gas station toilet seat, it sucks. Half of the goddamn enemies are quiet as a ninjas, Arrowhead needs to fix that.
So aside from some tank cosmetics and some new weapons, we essentially got two arguably worthless Boosters (apparently just spamming EATs and diving to extinguish yourself is WAAAAY too hard) and an okay armor passive. (A slightly better padded armor passive? idfk).

And the AR w/ under barrel shotgun seems to only try to make the shotgun class more obsolete (with the Sweeper one of the only shotties saving that category). I can only imagine it has just as bad of handling as the One-Two to balance it.
