Quarterback Early Season Practice Reminders: 1) Have Fun: Its a choice 2) Bring Energy Every Day….Tour teammates will follow 3) Ignore the “tone” of the criticism and listen thoroughly to see if there is value. If so then use the criticism to get better. If the criticism is simply someone yelling or screaming to make themselves feel better…Be respectful if a coach and look them in the eye and say “yes coach” and move forward 4) Listen only to the human who matters when it's concerning quarterback play… be careful in deciding who that person is 5) Take every 7 on 7 rep and treat the timing and footwork as if it were a live rep… when passed the second read use Manning Goff footwork to get to reads 3/4/5 6) Get an extra rep or 2 with the receivers and rbs that u will have to count on…magic comes from reps 7) Get excited if you are competing for the starting job…Competition makes great players rise up and weaker players fall 8) Lead with action first, then. Oice, the encouragement, then helpful criticism when u earn the right to give it 9) Remember this: With average or above average talent great quarterbacks can be created… Why not u?
