Honoring those that served! Dylan was featured on the Iowa Men’s Basketball Instagram this morning. He is holding the Iowa flag.

Our son had the honor of participating in the color guard at the Iowa Hawkeye basketball game with this Air Force ROTC group. He is holding the state of Iowa flag. We are so proud of him.

Yup, that's me in the mascot costume. That is what my wedding video also looked like. (Not a lot of moves...) Excited to participate in Apollo's schoolwide assembly.

Many thanks to Yun Choi and the One Love Legacy foundation for purchasing our students winter coats at Washington School. AMAZING!!!

Congratulations to our son Dylan for being named the Air Force ROTC Freshman Cadet of the month at the University of Iowa. It was great to see him in Iowa City today.

Teaching Assistants are challenging to hire these days. Therefore, in D63 we offer a $250 gift card to any staff member that refers a TA that we end up hiring.

Hard to believe that my big guy is now a freshman in college. The time hop reflects 11 years. Go Hawks!!!

I made a new friend today! Many thanks to all of the bus drivers out there that keep our kiddos safe.

First day of school rain! Yikes… The new District 63 umbrellas came in very handy this morning.

Dropped the big guy off at the University of Iowa. Another generation of Hawkeye is ready to go!

Ready for the school year to begin. Both thumbs are way up!

That’s my oldest (Future Iowa Hawkeye as of August) who is helping to promote teacher appreciation week! Prospect High School Teachers are AMAZING.

When you work late on a Friday night and your custodian sets the building alarm by accident because they didn’t realize you were still working; you get to meet the most awesome individuals from the sheriff’s department! Thank you gentlemen…

Our substitute teachers in @EastMaine63 are AMAZING! They support our students and staff in so many ways. We try to show our appreciation in a variety of ways. We are providing each substitute with a special sweet treat.
