I've read both Japanese and the original(English) version of the Zed comic and I love both of them. but let me share you what I love about the Japanese version! Japanese is easier to show character in dialogue(text), I think. etc: having many ways to call yourself

I'll say this in English too Modern AU where Kayn has a hard time seeing Zed as his parent because Zed's depression made him unable to properly raise Kayn (and that made emotional distance between them)
