Victoria Secrets: Please Explain
What’s hiding in Victoria's secret cabinet papers?
You’ll have to wait 30 years to find out.
When One Nation announces plans to release cabinet documents, panic sets in at Labor HQ.
With decades of corruption potentially about to see the light of day, Ben Carroll, Jacinta Allan, and Dan Andrews embark on a desperate mission to shred the documents before it’s too late.
But first they'll have to survive Melbourne's potholes, public transport, and the violent streets of the world's most liveable city.
Meanwhile, Jess Wilson has a plan, apparently.

In 1969, two men bought a lion cub from the Harrods department store in London. They raised him in their apartment until he grew too big, eventually releasing him into the wild in Kenya with the help of conservationist George Adamson.
Later, the men returned to Africa. Despite being the head of a wild pride, Christian recognized them immediately and ran to greet them with hugs.

Vandals/thieves have taken a saw to the Doug Hawkins statue at the Braybrook Hotel.
Only one leg planted, it is now under serious threat. High value materials and huge sentimental value.
Has been there since September, 1997, erected next to statue of EJ Whitten.
Hopefully it can be guarded overnight.

Is there anyone in the @australianlabor party with enough courage to stand up for what is right? I hope there are meetings happening now where good Labor people are preparing to take a stand. All their reputations are being completely torched by Albanese.
ALBANESE USING YOUR TAX DOLLARS TO BUY SILENCE & BLOCK REFORM
Geoffrey Watson SC, anti corruption barrister and Centre for Public Integrity director, has torched the PM for treating independent MPs’ staff as personal political tools.
Under the MOP(S) Act, Albanese alone decides who gets taxpayer funded advisers, and Watson says the power is “unaccountable, unreviewable” and being used for “party political manipulative purposes.”
The trigger, a secret offer this week of an extra staffer to One Nation MP David Farley.
Pauline Hanson called it an attempt to buy off MPs. One Nation has formally accused the government of “undue influence.”
Watson’s examples are brutal:
• Senator Payman denied staff because of a personal feud — “quite frankly is disgraceful.”
• Greens given full allocation so they won’t back any move to change the law. “The whole exercise is entirely cynical.”
Hanson’s August letter, now public, pointed out the double standard: Greens get 17 adviser positions for 11 MPs, One Nation, now past the same threshold, is stuck on 4 and simply asked for proportionate parity to 9.
No cuts to anyone else. Just fair treatment. Denied.
Albo’s office still hasn’t explained why one crossbencher gets the full works and another gets punished.
This isn’t governance, it’s patronage with public money.
The law is rotten.
The PM is using it exactly as Watson described.
The Albanese government campaigned on integrity and transparency, yet the management of parliamentary resources indicates an ongoing reliance on systemic political leverage.

The Prime Minister lied again yesterday.
He stood up in the Parliament and said that his $6 million grant to Marrickville Golf Club wasn’t invitation-only, when it was.
Just like he stood up in the Parliament and said the grant was to fix sewerage, when it wasn’t.
And when he promised not to change Capital Gains Tax and Negative Gearing, but he did in the Budget.
And when he said “we’ve dealt with inflation” but it’s still too high, and rising.
Like when he promised Australians a $275 cut to their power bills, yet Australians’ electricity bills are soaring.
And like when he promised you “cheaper mortgages” yet we’ve had 16 interest rate rises under Labor, and possibly a 17th one on Tuesday.
It’s one thing for this Prime Minister to mislead the Parliament over his Marrickville mess, it’s another thing for him to look Australians in the eye and tell them lies about the state of the economy.
Australians are all paying the price for this Prime Minister’s problem with the truth.

🟠 ANDREW HASTIE ACCUSED OF ACTING AS A DOUBLE AGENT AFTER VANISHING FROM VOTING ON LABOR'S CENSORSHIP BILL WHILE VETERAN SAM BAMFORD AND PODCASTER BIG CHOCKY CALL OUT HIS PARLIAMENTARY BETRAYAL 🟠
Andrew Hastie spent weeks strutting around TV studios playing the battle-hardened warrior for free speech, calling Labor’s Digital Duty of Care bill "1984 levels of censorship." But when the division bells rang on Wednesday morning, the Member for Canning was nowhere to be seen.
Hansard records show Hastie and Angus Taylor both missed all eight votes without even organising a pair, giving Labor a completely free pass to steamroll the bill through 96 to 38.
When Afghanistan combat veteran Sam Bamford (2 Worlds Collide podcast) asked Hastie on Instagram where he was during the vote, tough-guy Hastie blocked him within hours.
Independent commentator Big Chocky called him out even further, dropping a story signed "Little Chocolate", a nod to their enlistment row and putting Hastie’s own website transcripts on display proving he bragged on 14 and 19 October about opposing the bill before ghosting his own followers who were counting on him to go into battle for them.
For a bloke who loves posturing with his copy of Sun Tzu’s The Art of War on his parliamentary desk, he seemed to miss the basic rule about showing up to the fight.
This is exactly why voters are turning to One Nation.
The majors are two wings of the same bird; Labor pushes bad policy through the front door, while the Coalition pretends to fight it while holding the back door wide open. You can't trust major party careerists who vanish when you need them.

The Prime Minister is a serial liar.
He lied to Australians about Capital Gains Tax and Negative Gearing to get elected. He lied about falling off a stage. He lied about reducing power bills by $275. He lied about mocking the Japanese Prime Minister.
Now, he's lying about his dodgy $6 million taxpayer-funded grant to the Marrickville Golf Club.
In every instance, he has refused to admit he was wrong and apologise. In doing so, he has treated Australians like fools.
His word was never his bond.
Australians deserve a Prime Minister with the honesty to give straight answers to simple questions and the humility to admit when they've made a mistake.

The Prime Minister has fessed up to a lie.
He’s been forced to admit to sharing incorrect information about a $6 million grant.
But he’s stopped short of apologising.
