🤗 It’s #RandomActsOfKindnessDay 🌞 Brightening someone’s day with a little bit of kindness can be as easy as, calling a friend to see how their day went, or offering someone a cup of tea ☕ Let us know what you’re doing today to spread some kindness ✨

It’s not always easy to know what to say when someone you care about is going through a rough time. But reaching out, even with a small text, can remind them they’re not alone. Here’s a few message ideas 👇
I was just thinking about you and wondering how you're getting on?

Know you've not been feeling great. Would you like to come over, I can bring snacks? 🍪😋

As part of the Lancashire Reading Trail Ella created this beautiful poster with a review for Astro Chimp by David Walliams. It was so good we had to give it pride of place in the children's section at #SavickLibrary Start your trail here lancashire.gov.uk/libraries-… #LancsReadingTrail

Fact: Blue Monday was made up to sell holidays in January. We know it’s not real and that bad days can happen any day of the year. Join us in celebrating #BrewMonday today instead! Grab a cuppa and check in on someone you care about ☕
A title reading "Reach out to the friend who..." followed by 6 different shaped and coloured mugs, each labelled with a different type of friend to reach out to. They say: "You haven't heard from for a while"; "Is having a hard time"; "Always seems OK"; "Doesn't seem OK"; "You miss"; "Might need to talk".

Winter can be a lonely time for some, we are encouraging our communities to look out for each other. Pop in and see your neighbour for a cuppa, check in on a friend or give your family a call.
