If there’s anyone else out there who, like me, is already finding it difficult to ‘do’ #Christmas, just know you’re not alone. It’ll all be over in just a few weeks. Not a Grinch or ‘just grumpy’ the whole pressure to be happy & show everyone how wonderful your life is #NotMe

To mark Armistice & Remembrance Sunday, I share powerful but harrowing footage from the Great War, which has been restored & colourised, along with a war poem which I've written & recited, called "The Ghosts of the Riven". Caution is advised as the imagery is strong #LestWeForget

I know I don’t post much on here, but I want to show you what I was doing this w/end.
I was back in ‘my’ beloved #Greenwich helping out with @openhouselondon @orncgreenwich I got to show people what a wonderful place it is and tell them about the Tudor history of the site.
Imagine standing in the very spot that #HenryVIII had his many feasts, where #ElizabethI was born and where Henry’s only Son #EdwardVI died…… then visiting the #JacobeanUndercroft built as a repair by #JamesI
God, I miss it so much. But #ThankYou to all the Staff, Volunteers and Visitors that made my return so enjoyable.
I will be back…… try keeping me away! @orncgreenwich

This deceiving grid tricks you into thinking there's a curved line somewhere, but you can't find it. The purposefully placed gray lines will induce your peripheral vision to interpolate curved lines

TOMORROW is #August1stTweetOutDay. Join me, @MzSgtPepper & the WHOLE WORLD in NOT tweeting for 24 hrs. I won't dignify accusations that this is a political statement when it is, in fact, simply an experimental STUNT because I'm bored & wanna see what happens. #TweetlessTuesday
