♻️Happy Earth Day Duval! Make a small change to help our environment. Here are some ideas: • Recycle, and only appropriate items • Get (and use) reusable tote bags for groceries • Turn water off while brushing your teeth & lathering soap in shower • Check & adjust sprinklers

Excellent article on the (lack of) actions @GovRonDeSantis has taken on behalf of the #environment in #Florida. tampabay.com/opinion/2023/01…

Gov. DeSantis brags about his environmental achievements, but his record is poor | Column

Ron DeSantis should stop focusing on ridding the state of ‘faddish ideology’ and get on with the business of protecting Floridians from the threats posed by the warming climate.

It is shameful that - w/ so many problems facing our state - our precious @GovRonDeSantis has all the free time (& money) to jet set on nationwide campaign trails, for these uber right wing conspiracy nutjobs. #DeathSantis has abandoned #Florida in sake of his political ambition.

Is anyone surprised? Scientists have been warning us of these exact consequences for MANY years, yet we (read: Republicans) keep denying the science, sticking their heads in the sand, & pretending like nothing is wrong. All while the Earth scorches, fires ravage, floods destroy.
